"Says the one who pepper sprayed and kicked me in the balls" Rolling his eyes Damon says internally shivering.

"Yeah I'm sorry about that... I just got so angry after what you did. I don't think I should even apologize but I felt bad causing you pain so I'm sorry.."
Seeing the sullen look on Zaina's face, Damon could feel the sadness creep into his heart.

The sheer gentleness of the kiss was making her heart rate speed up.
