twenty eight

(a/n HI! there are mentions of blood here! thought id give a heads up/trigger warning)

the rain started getting heavier and heavier, I was getting drenched.

I was getting tired, dragging my wounded body that was bleeding quite a bit down the street

I see the familiar building in the distance, I continue my journey, my vision started getting blurry.

the pain was starting to get unbearable.

i reached the gate, pressing on the button to alert them that i was here, usually i would have to ask to be let in, but now the gates fell wide open

i drag myself through the gates, the rain still pouring down on me

i start walking towards the castle like building, in hopes that i'd be able to reach there in time

i squint my blurry eyes, looking at the huge gates of the castle like building, i see a male figure, "y/n" i hear him shout, his voice muffled because of the rain and because of the fact that he quite far away.

i get weaker, my steps get slower, i was losing my strength, my eyes were threatening to shut, i try to keep them open

i see the male figure race down the steps of the entrance of the building, his hand sliding down the railing alongside him, making sure that he could catch himself in case he slipped.

"y/n" he yelled again, i could barely see him, the rain was getting so much heavier even though i thought that was impossible to get worse than it already was

i stopped walking, my body didn't want to move anymore, more like it couldn't move anymore.

i wrapped my arms around myself, to keep myself warm

i look up again, hoping that the male figure wasn't just my imagination, that my mind wasn't tricking me into thinking i was okay, that i was safe.

i see the male figure running towards me, through the rain, "y/n keep your eyes open" i hear him yell again, he was still quite far from me

i look down, pulling my arms that were wrapped around me away from my body, i look at them.

my right hand had a gun wound in it, my left hand was covered in blood, in attempts to stop the bleeding, the amount of blood that covered my left hand showed just how much i was fighting to stay alive

maybe i lied, maybe i was afraid of dying.

my hands were trembling, shaking so much that i knew what was going to happen next

the male figure was getting closer, time felt like it slowed down, i slowly look up at him, even in the rain, his eyes met mine.

worry. worry was all i saw in his eyes

"y/n, y/n keep your eyes open for me please" i hear him say, his voice cracking slightly when he said the last word

i try to do as he said, fighting the force that tried to shut my eyes

i fought, i fought so hard, but it won, my eye lids got heavy and i became so dizzy

before my eyes shut, i see the male figure a few feet away from me.

"no no no y/n stay with me" was the last thing i heard

my eyes shut and i felt my body get heavy, i expected to fall.

i was falling-

but u guessed it, he caught me.

*male figure pov*

(a/n HAH yall thought i was gonna tell u who he was? LOL WHAT A BUNCH OF LOS-)

i run to her with everything in me, i didn't care if i couldn't breathe, at the end of the day i'd do anything for her

i see her body losing its color, god why did i get such a huge lawn

even in the rain, her eyes seemed to sparkle but they started losing their color too

i was losing her by the second

i kept asking her to keep her eyes open and i knew she was trying to

i watch as her eyes shut and her body start to fall, i was almost there.

before she could hit the floor, i catch her.

i hold her motionless body close to me, i lift her up, carrying her bridal style.

i take quick steps towards the building, the clothing i was wearing drenched.

i not losing her, not now, not ever.

"i promise that whoever did this to you doesn't live another day y/n" i say under my breath.

i finally wake into the building calling for help from my personnel doctors

*time skip and back to y/n's pov*

i feel my senses kick in again, was it all just a nightmare?

my throat was so dry.

the material under me was definitely too soft to be a hospital bed.

so i cant be in the hospital, wait maybe hospital beds are soft, i mean i never got in a hospital bed before

actually i cant even go to a hospital because that will risk me getting caught by the police

wait a second what if im in a hospital bed right now

fuck fuck fuck fuck

my eyes flutter open, expecting light to greet me, but there was no light

aren't hospitals always lit up?

i let my eyes adjust to the new "lighting", i mean it was dark so there wasn't really any adjusting

i look around, studying my surroundings, the big glass window, the big doors, the clock on the wall that read 4am

i slightly jump when i see someone in the chair beside my bed

they were seated in the chair with there face resting on their arm which was resting on my bed

i try to bring my hands to my face in hopes to rub my blurry eyes, but my hand was interlocked with his

my movement seemed to awaken him, his head slowly lifts up, his tired eyes meet mine

"y/n"
