"...What the...?"

Upon waking up, I find myself in a room...but, not my room. Sitting up, I look all around me.

"I'm...in the hospital. Wait...that's right. I was hit by a train... No...that can't be right."

I move around to find my body completely find. I had no injures whatsoever.

"But...I was definitely hit... Ah! Takemichi!"

Let's hope he didn't die. I was just about to press the button to summon a nurse but...

"Ohhh, that has to wait!"

I quickly run to the bathroom. After doing my business, I wash my hands in the sink. Everything was fine...until I looked up in the mirror.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!"

I fall backwards out of shock and land on my butt.

"...W-What the f*ck...? That...that's..."

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Miss Sato, are you alright?! I heard you scream from down the hall."

Standing up, I take one more look in the mirror. Not only was my hair now short, and I had different clothes on, but I was super pale.

"I wasn't this pale since back when I was 14. Jeez, I look like a...ghost... 14?!"

Now that I mentioned it, I do look younger. Oh god, what's going on here?

"Miss Sato?"

I open the door to find a nurse lady looking worried.

"I'm fine. Am I here because of the train accident?"

"Train accident? Miss, I think you're beginning to hallucinate."

"...What are you talking about?"

"You're here because a bystander brought you here. They saw you jump from a bridge, two days ago, into a river."

...WHAT?! Wait, wait, wait, wait! I think I remember that! That was when I was at the height of my depression. I tried to commit suicide but someone saved me. I never found out who it was though. But, that was a long time ago.

"You said two days, yeah? What day is it?"

"July 4th."

"What year?"

"Did you hit your head, Miss?"

"Please answer."

"...2005."

2005? But it's 2017. That was 12 years ago if that's the case. Hold up, she doesn't know about any train accident. However, I'm positive it happened. Maybe I'm going about this all wrong. What if this is that thing where you supposedly see your life flash before your eyes?
