Akela (Avengers x wolf)

Chapter 9

Loki watched the avengers staring at him in shock and comfusion he quickly turned around he closed his eyes Trying to calm himself down He took a deep breath and opened his eyes he looked at his hands they had turned back to his asgardian skin.

Loki looked towards where Akela was laying and walked toward her he rested his hand on her stomach she was still warm blood was slowly flowing out of her head her eyes where still open.

The avengers watched as Loki closed the wolfs eyes they started to regret letting fury kill her they saw Thor walk over to his brother and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Brother" Thor said gently Loki shrugged thors hand off

Loki decided he was going to bury her so he picked her up in his arms and started to walk out of the room when a voice stopped him

"What are you doing" fury asked Loki turned around

"I'm going to bury her" Loki said and walked off fury was fuming but before he could go to Loki an arm went in front of him

"Let him bury her" Thor said 

"I'm going with my brother" Thor said and walked out 

"I'm going too" Bruce said chasing after Thor 

"Come on guys it's just a stupid animal" fury called out to them

Steve and Nat shook their heads and followed behind them fury then looked towards Tony 

"I guess your going too" fury said to Tony 

"You know it eyepatch" Tony said and ran after them

"Hey wait up guys" Tony shouted leaving clint 

Clint stood there beside fury he was unsure weather to follow his friends or stay with fury so he decided to follow them he was disappointed in fury he walked out with a slight limp.

"I expected more from you Barton" fury yelled

Meanwhile 

Loki and the rest of the avengers where stood in the forest behind the compound. Loki let Thor dig a hole while He held Akela in his arms she was still warm which was odd but didn't think any thing of it he placed her into the hole.

Elsewhere

No PoV 

Hydra Found where the winter wolf was being kept and where at the entrance of the forest.

"Let him out" 

Then a large black wolf lept out of the truck as they opened the door the hydra agent held out winters collar letting him smell it the wolf locked onto the scent and sprinted off.

Back with the avengers

"I'm so sorry" loki whispered as he finished filling in the hole.

"Let's go brother" Thor said Loki nodded 

They all started to walk away when Loki stopped turning around thinking he heard something he was about to turn back around when he heard it again.

Loki started to look around when he saw what appeared to be red eyes in the distance.

"Guys" Loki yelled but they didn't hear him as they where too far ahead 

"Thor" he yelled for his brother 

Thor heard his brother call out to him as he saw the lights of the compound ahead he turned around to see Loki nowhere in sight

"Loki" Thor yelled out making the others turn around 

"Where did he go" clint said 

"I don't know" Thor said worried about his little brother

"We need to go back" Thor said 

"I'm not going back in there it gives me the creeps plus it's getting dark" Tony said 

"I'm not leaving my brother" Thor said and went back into the forest Bruce, Steve and Natasha decided to go with him leaving clint and Tony behind.

Thor caught a glimpse of Loki in the distance his back was turned Thor decided to call out to him.

"Loki" Thor yelled making Loki turn around then Thor saw something running fast through the forest heading towards Loki.

"LOKI BEHIND YOU" Thor shouted 

Loki turned around to see a giant black wolf jump out and swipe his chest with its claws Loki crashed into the ground with the wolf above him he heard Thor cry out to him

The black wolf snarled above Loki drool dripping from its mouth and its red eyes staring at him the wolf then went for loki's neck Loki closed his eyes he couldn't teleport because of the dampners and his powers were weak he laid there helpless. Thor was too far away to do anything he closed his eyes and waited for death that never came.

He opened his eyes to see no wolf above him instead he only heard vicious growls then he saw his brother appear over him.

"Brother" Thor said Then helped Loki stand up

"Where did the wolf go" Loki asked looking around 

"I don't know something hit it and then it ran off into the forest" Thor said

"What hit it" Loki asked 

"I don't know it was too dark to see anything" Thor said 

"Thor!" They heard Steve shout 

"Over here captain" Thor called out 

"What happend" Steve asked as himself, Nat and bruce made there way to them

"I'm unsure captain" Thor said he turned to Loki 

"Loki what happened" Bruce said as he noticed the blood on loki's top 

"I heard something in the forest so I started looking around until I saw what looked like a pair of red eyes" Loki started to explain

"Red eyes" 

"Yes that's when I shouted for Thor then that thing appeared out of nowhere  attacked me" Loki finished explaining 

"Then Where did it go" Steve said 

"I don't know" Loki said 

"It's to dark to see anything out here" Natasha 

"That's why I'm here" they turned around to see tony and clint standing there 

"I've bought flashlights and weapons just In case we needed them" tony said and threw a gun to Natasha which she caught clint passed Steve his shield 

"Well Let's go" tony said and they set of 

5 minutes later 

The avengers stuck together as they search further into the forest when they heard growls and scuffling ahead of them they all stopped and looked at each other.

The growls all of a sudden stopped and heard something coming toward them they all aimed there weapons ready for whatever came at them.

Tony held up his hand and shone a flashlight directly in front of them.

"What the fuck"
