The air was crisp and thin as you walked arm in arm with them, cheeks flushed bright rouge like the trees, and content from being sandwiched in the middle of Kaminari and Bakugo, their constant jostling ruffling up your hair - not that you minded though, you ravished in making a big deal about it; endless apologies being thrown your way in the silent form of head pats and cold cheek kisses. "Obviously penguins are a type of bird you fucking idiot, what on earth are you on about." Katsuki says exasperatedly, even his normally snappy attitude towards Kaminari's questionable thoughts diminished to just a feeble scowl. "Are you sure? They just look kind of chunky if you know what I mean..." Kaminari mutters, his breath visible in the chilly air, giving you a dopey smile and a predominantly light nudge when you laugh at his silly words. "What do you think, Sunshine? Are penguins birds or... something else I guess?" He questions you, a frown playing on his face as he re-thinks his odd wording. "Of course penguins are birds," You splutter, cuffing his head lightly before extending your statement. "They're just flightless ones. Look, it literally says right here:" You pull out your phone. "Mmm where is it... oh! Look, here. 'Penguins have all the biological requirements to be classified as a bird; feathers, the ability to lay eggs, warm bloo-" Bakugo gently cups his hand around your mouth, your lips parted slightly against his frozen knuckles. "Okay, we get it. I was correct, Kaminari was 100% not correct, as usual. Now why don't we just hurry the fuck up and go home? Shoto looks like a fucking ice-block, and as much as he can be a total dick sometimes, I would prefer he didn't freeze to death." Katsuki snatches his hand away from your mouth, picking up his pace and therefore causing you all to be jolted violently forward, the tight grasps you all had on each-others hands balancing you out a little. "Love, my quirk-" "Shut up! I knew that. Just come on."

When you step inside, the warmth of the air trapped within relinquishes your goosebumps from the crisp walk, and the slow-burning fire lapping at the burnt logs in the fireplace made the atmosphere homely and sweet. "Babe, take your coat off. That soaking thing is better off than on right now," Kaminari chuckles, his loving eyes brushing over your features as he steps behind you and slips the frost-ridden coat off, placing it on a wooden hook nearby. "There we go," He hums, twirling you around several times like a ballerina, before you both get dizzy and collapse into each others arms - unorientated and in heaps of giggles.

"Ah, there you two are." Shoto smiles, his previous shivers subdued now, as he pats the space next to him. "We've set up a movie to watch, care to join us?" He asks, glancing over to Bakugo who's already cocooned himself up in the huge, fluffy blanket he had requested for his birthday, accompanied by an already semi-eaten bowl of popcorn balanced precariously on his stomach. You turn to go and sit with Shoto, but Kaminari has already beaten you to it, a grin lurking in his jewel-like eyes as he nuzzles up close to Shoto with every fiber of his being. Oh no, that means you would either have to sit alone, or, anger Bakugo by asking him to budge up - which would probably not go that well. You shuffle awkwardly over to Bakugo, the sound of your slippers moving muffled by the adverts playing on the TV. You hear him sigh and face you with a neutral look on his face, stopping you in your tracks. "I know what you want dumbass. I'm not that mean..." He mutters reluctantly, unraveling himself from the blanket and opening it up to you; warmth and snugness practically radiating out from under there. "Thanks," You smile, gratitude and excitement bubbling inside of you - Katsuki cuddles were always unparalleled. "Hi," You say, your face turned towards his once you're fully submerged in the blanket of paradise. "Tch... Hi Teddybear," He says quietly back, fumbling around for the missing popcorn bowl, and upon successfully finding it, he brings a piece to your lips and presses it there tenderly, asking gently for entry as a genuine smile lights up his face. You open them slowly, the popcorn melting into a pool of sweetness on the tip of your tongue as he watches in fascination, before pressing your head down lightly to his blanket covered chest. His heartbeats are soothing, and you take enjoyment in listening to them quicken when you trace your fingers along his neck in lucid patterns, and how they slow after a while.

The movie soon starts, and despite your lack of attention usually, you find the movie captivating you and drawing you into it's plot. It was about a student who had discovered how to time travel, and in a moment of despair, decides to do something potentially dangerous. They go back in time, and decide to fix every little thing wrong in the world, like all of the wars, poverty, discrimination and much more, however the ending was a complete and utter cliffhanger. "Wh- No, it can't end there!" You screech, stirring everyone awake from their half-asleep states in each others arms. "Calm down Teddybear! You're pulling the blanket off me..." Bakugo complains groggily, rubbing his eyes. "Calm down... Calm down? But I need to know the ending!" You say quickly, yanking the blanket off him for good measure as you grab the remote from off the stand. "Disastrous History 2" You speak desperately into the remote, almost dropping it in disappointment when nothing appeared on screen. "You really liked it huh?" Kaminari exclaims, still hanging on loosely to Shoto's torso in a lazy hug. "Liked it? That was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time," You mumble distractedly, already setting up google on your phone. "Maybe our TV just doesn't have it available?" Shoto wonders, giving Kaminari's neck a lingering kiss before standing up and wrapping his arms around your shoulders. "Ah, or not." He says, wincing at the information on your phone. "Hm? What's it say?" Kaminari questions, slinking back into the warm spot Shoto had left. "It basically says that 'Disastrous History 2 was permanently cancelled due to the director going broke or something." You huff in a defeated manner, Shoto giving you an apology kiss on the top of your head. "How about we do something else instead then?" Katsuki suggests, heaving himself out of the blanket.

And that's how you found yourself dancing frantically to 'let it go,' Wii remote swinging in hand and Shoto playing Elsa beside you. "You've got this Y/N!" Kaminari whoops, recording every second of this rare sight. "Go Icyhot, beat them!" You hear Katsuki yell, only spurring you on more. You had all booted up the ancient Wii you'd found in the attic a couple months ago; and were only just discovering how much fun just dance could be. "You're going down-" You hear Shoto pant through gritted teeth, both of you sweating profusely with tedious stitches. Since when did Let it Go, go on for so long? Finally, the song begins to come to an end, the figures on screen turning towards each other dramatically and doing a series of slow movements before it ends off with us both back to back and arms crossed. "I totally won that!" You laugh confidently, turning to the screen cockily to look at your amazing... loss? "You totally didn't win that!" Kaminari guffaws along with the rest of them, evidently zooming into your devastated and sweaty face as Shoto's piled on by Katsuki. "I knew you'd win idiot, those moves were just too good," He laughs into his shoulder before picking up Shoto easily and swinging him around and around in a close hug.

The night falls quickly through your hours long dancing session, the cold air becoming even more chilly, no doubt leaving the grass with frosted tips the next morning, despite it only being early October. The room remains quiet after several hours of hectic dancing and tousling - bodies piled on top of each other in pure exhaustion, limbs askew and Wii remotes lying abandoned on the floor whilst almost silent 'victory' music drifts on in the background, the menu on the screen conflicting with the darkness of the room. It's bound to be deadly cold in the morning, but with plenty of hugs, kisses and warm cocoa, all will be perfectly fine.
