Chapter 13 ~Ｐａｎｃａｋｅｓ~

Me and Kageyama walked into the kitchen and he extended his hand, I gave him a confused look

"The apron," he said while looking and pointing at my apron

"Oh right," I said while taking my apron off and handing it to him

"Cute pyjamas," he said while trying to contain a laugh. Against my want my cheeks went a little red at his words, I tried to control my nerves as I looked away from him

I took a deep breath once he turned around. I tried to get annoyed at his words "I think you're being sarcastic and I don't see why because my Christmas pyjamas are very cute!"

He began to make the pancake mixture while giving me a smile

"No flirting remember, I can see and hear everything from here," Emiko said while switching through channels on the TV

God why did the living room have to be shared with the kitchen

Our house wasn't too big but also wasn't too small. The kitchen and living room were shared with a kitchen island in between them. The living room part was sort of weird, it was lower down than the rest of the room, you had to walk down two small 'steps' to get to the couches

"Emiko, you don't even know what flirting is," I said as I rolled my eyes

I walked around to the other side of the kitchen island and sat down on a stool, I sat there watching what he was doing curiously, taking notes in my head

"How many people am I making pancakes for?" He asked as he mixed away

"My mom, me, Emiko and you please!" I said with a smile as I swung my feet back and forth happily

"Alright," he said while turning around to the stove

"I'm just gonna go get my phone!" I ran upstairs and into my room to retrieve my phone. I took it off charge and walked out of my room, I tiptoed down the hall and then ran down the stairs and back into the kitchen

I sat on a stool and scrolled through my phone. I clicked on the message that Kageyama sent and changed his name from unknown number to "the grandpa from up"

"Uhm... what's a swine? It sounds offensive" I said confused as I looked up at Kageyama

"I don't know I heard it once in a programme and couldn't think of another insult for some reason... which is weird because there's so many things to insult about you," he shrugged while flipping some pancakes

"That really hit deep, on a Saturday morning is crazy and did you even need to insult me?" I questioned with a straight, exhausted face

"Yes, absolutely"

"You're so annoying!" I said and he laughed "can you add me into a group chat with everyone from the team so that I can get their numbers" I whined

"Hmmmm yeah, just let me finish these pancakes"

"Alrighty!" I said while jumping off the stool and walking into the living room "Whatcha watching?" I asked while sitting down next to Emiko
