"What have I done to get into this predicament?" Y/n thought.
"I can't believe I'm going out on a date with... her."
"Okay, play it cool. You can make this work. After all, it's only your first date. What can go wrong?"
"Oh, so many things..."
We cut to Y/n casually standing outside his house, waiting for his date.
"Where is she?"
He checks his watch.
"Did she forget?"
He checks his phone.
"Yeah, if she doesn't come within the next 15 nanoseconds, I'ma bounce back."
He checks his pocket watch.
"Yeah, I best be hittin' the ol' dusty trail."
He sets off, but then feels a hand on his shoulder.
Yumeko: "You ready, love?"
"I-- uh-- well, you-- how--"
Yumeko: "You going or what?"
"Well, I guess I am now."
Yumeko: "If you're wondering why I took so long, I--"
"Never mind that. Let's just go."
Cut to Y/n taking Yumeko to the dinner date spot.
Yumeko:"You chose this place?"
"I don't have much money, so I figured a pizza buffet was the best possible choice, given any and all circumstances."
Yumeko:"I guess it works."
"I hope this works," Y/n thought to himself.
Yumeko: "My, this is fancy."
"Uh-huh, yeah."
Yumeko: "So, how do we eat here?"
"That's the thing about a buffet. I pay for the two of us, and we get *all* the food we can eat until we're through."
Yumeko: "Really?"
"You clearly have never been to a buffet before."
Yumeko: "I only ever heard of them."
"Ah. Here, let me help you with how you choose food, then, I can show you this neat trick on ordering specialty pizzas."
Yumeko: "As well as what?"
"Well, you can also play these arcade games over here, but you can't bring food here."
Yumeko: "Ah."
"Me personally, I like a supreme pizza."
Yumeko: "I prefer pepperoni myself."
"Well, Yumeko, they have several pizzas to choose from."
Timeskip to after the date.
Yumeko: "You know, y/n, you're a charming person."
"Well, it runs in my family."
The bus arrives at y/n's house.
"See you soon, Yumeko!"
Yumeko: "Wait!"
"What is it?"
Yumeko gave y/n a kiss.
Yumeko: "Thanks for tonight."
As she left the house, y/n clutched his cheek.
