Bai YueSheng followed him and Gong Yi asked him, "Do you want to eat this?" He pointed at the macarons behind the counter.

Bai YueSheng nodded but then shook his head.

Gong Yi said, "If you want to eat, just eat. Right now isn't your body much better?" After saying that he added a box of macarons to the order.

In the post apocalyptic world, if Bai YueSheng ate too much sugar his body wouldn't be able to metabolise it. If he wasn't careful he could even die so Gong Yi regulated him very strictly.

Bai YueSheng didn't say anything as he drank the coffee. He ate two macarons and then didn't take anymore.

Gong Yi sat opposite him. His black pupils stared at him unwaveringly. It was impossible to tell what he was thinking.

Bai YueSheng had almost finished half of the cup of caramel macchiato before Gong Yi finally spoke. "What are you doing in this world?"

Bai YueSheng: "...." Can your questions not always be no sharp? They're very hard to answer!

Gong Yi looked at him and Bai YueSheng's heart leapt. He thought for a while then finally said, "En... a mission."

Gong Yi: "Details."

Bai YueSheng hesitated. "To live peacefully and quietly for twenty years."

Gong Yi: "Just like this?"

Bai YueSheng said with a bitter laugh, "It sounds easy but there are a lot of restrictions. Both wealth and popularity have requirements and also my body..." He carefully explained all the details regarding himself.

Gong Yi asked, "So you can't use your ability?"

Gong Yi said, "I can help you."

Bai YueSheng opened his eyes wide.

Gong Yi said, "But have you already lost the ability to control time?"

Bai YueSheng actually really didn't have the ability to use that frightful power from the post-apocalyptic world, however...

Gong Yi said, "It's fine. If you can't use it it doesn't matter. It's only twenty years. I can accompany you."

Bai YueSheng didn't make a sound however he subconsciously bit into his spoon, and his face was very troubled.

Gong Yi probably liked him..... ba?

Otherwise he wouldn't have come to this world. However how much did he like him? Was it the kind of affection one had towards their pet, or the care towards a child? Or was it because he left too suddenly and so he wasn't able to accept it and so came to find him?

Bai YueSheng couldn't puzzle it out but he honestly hoped that Gong Yi didn't like him too much.
