Finding Naruto

Sasuke's Pov
After leaving the Uchiha Clan's secret gathering place, we decided to train and spar against each other. We're training more seriously than usual

"You're Taijutsu has gotten better" Shiori comments

Shiori's better at Taijutsu than me, while I'm better at Ninjutsu. We help each other at what we do better to help each other improve

"Let's take a break" I say

We stop, I pass her my canteen

"Thanks" she says as she drinks from it

We sit down on the grass

"I wasn't... I wasn't able to do anything" I say referring to the fight with Gaara

"I don't ever wanna have to see that again. Watching you and our best friends falling right in front of me" I say

"I wasn't able to do anything either. I felt so useless that time" Shiori says with a sad smile

Shiori has the habit of hiding her pain with a smile. But I know her better than anyone so I know how she's really feeling. We feel the same way

Shiori looks down sadly

"Naruto just gets stronger and stronger. Compared to him..." she says sadly

I clench my fist at the thought of the battle with Gaara

"Well, that's enough sadness for now, why don't we ask Kakashi Sensei to help us with training?" Shiori suggested

"Great idea, let's go" I say

I stand up, I hold my hand out to Shiori. She takes it and I pull her up, she dust herself off and head to Kakashi's house

-TIMESKIP-
We knock at his door but no one is  answering

"Oh. The door's unlock" Shiori says, turning the knob

"Let's just go in then" I say

"Ah are you sure? This is trespassing" Shiori points out

"It's fine. It's just Kakashi" I tell her

We walk up the stairs and open the door

"Kakashi" I call

"Kakashi Sensei" Shiori calls

"Huh?"--Shiori

We look around the room. Kakashi is lying on his bed

"Guy Sensei, Kurenai Sensei, and Asuma Sensei. Why is Kakashi Sensei asleep?" Shiori asks

"And why is this room full of Jonin? What are you doing?! What the hell is going on here?!" I ask angrily

"Sasuke" Shiori places a hand on my shoulder

I look at her and she shakes her head at me. I calm down

"Uh, not...much, really" Guy says

Another ninja opens the door

"Hey. Is it true that Itachi has returned?! And that he's come here to get Naruto?!" He asks frantically 

Guy facepalms

We turn to the Ninja

"Uh" he notices me and Shiori

"Idiot"--Kurenai

Shiori and I freeze up. My eyes widen with hatred. I pull Shiori's hand as I run out the room, pulling Shiori with me

Shiori's Pov
We jump from roof to roof and back at the ground, on our way to Naruto's place

"So he's come back to the village huh?" Sasuke says, referring to Itachi nii-san
