Rose's POV

I couldn't just agree to follow a complete stranger to God knows where

Even though he saved my life back at the restaurant, I just couldn't

what if he is a serial killer, who saved my life only to take it again

no the mystery attached to this man was so uncanny," I said to myself

“Lucas right, that is your name, I don't know what you are playing at but you just have to let me go," I said to him

No, I can't do that sweetheart, I'm just playing at keeping you safe," he murmured still never taken his eyes off the window and for some weird reason I hated the fact that he wouldn't just look at me

“Why don't you fucking look at me when I talk to you," I scolded him, but still his attention didn't shift from that window

what if you are a serial killer, I just can't go with you," I continued protesting

But soon Lucas laughed turning towards me

Sweetheart trust me, I'm worst than a serial killer," he laughed looking at me with an unreadable expression, and I was more confused than ever

I have a boyfriend and a friend that needs me, I can not just up and disappear without a trace," I let out again as I tried to see if I could reason with him

Lucas smirked this time, as he moved closer to me, bringing his hand touching the side of my face

Miss Cain, that's your name right," he let out softly

Tyler," I whispered

Yeah Tyler," he whispered smiling

I told you that your friend would be fine, and as for your boyfriend, I'm sure he wouldn't miss you that much," Lucas smirked

His words left me even more confused than I was before, but I chose not to pay it any attention

Looking at him, I knew if I kept on trying to persuade him to let me go, all my words would just be falling on deaf ears

so I moved his hand away angrily from my face as I turned, looking out of the window

I didn't know what I had gotten myself into with this man, but I knew it was only the universe that could save me now

Closing my eyes and taken in a deep breath, I tried to keep my raging nerves in check as we pulled into a secluded house on the outskirts of town

Where are we?" I asked confused and concerned as to why we were here

This is my house, and you would be  staying here because this is the safest place you can be right now," Lucas said getting down from the car and signalling for me to do the same

But I couldn't, I couldn't bring myself to move, I was paralyzed by fear

I looked up at the secluded houses and shook my head

“No, this is how all scary movies start at a secluded house," I said to myself

Tyler, aren't you going to come down," Lucas asked as he looked so amused by my reaction

No, I'm going to sit here in this car," I yelled looking at him with my most intimidating look but Lucas only just laughed

Tyler if you don't, I would just have to carry you out myself or ask one of my men to do so," he said smirking moving closer to me
