Rose's POV

Shivering at the sight of this Hooded figure, I quickly pushed Liam away, drifting my focus towards the direction where I saw it, but to my greatest surprise it wasn't there anymore

Wait but... It was right there, I saw it or was my mind just playing tricks on me

Has my mind become so invaded and consumed by the mystery of this Hooded figure that I now see everywhere

Have its eyes bore so deep into my soul, that my own eyes now see it, even when it's is not there

I needed it to stop, it had to stop," I said to myself incessantly as I continued to shiver none stop

“Hey, are you okay," I soon heard Liam ask as his voice broke me out of my invading thoughts

Didn't you see, it was right there," I said with shaky lips

No, I didn't see anything, What is going on, what did you see, you need to calm down, you are practically trembling right now," Liam said with concern in his voice and that was when I knew my mind was the cause of all this

It was playing games with me, bringing an illustration of the hooded figure, the same one I saw the day I made my escape from Keith

“Please just take me home, I'm not feeling too good," I pleaded, taking in a deep breath

Liam nodded his head, as he led me slowly to his car

Are you sure, you are okay," he asked again as we got to his car

Yes I am, I just need to go home," I muttered as I looked up at him

His eyes were filled with concern, as he helped me into the car

“Jacob, we are going to her house," Liam informed the chauffeur as he got into the car as well

Soon enough, the driver drove off into the night

The car ride was silent and awkward, and I could feel Liam stealing a few glances in my direction

I knew he was worried about me and my sudden change in attitude and I just couldn't help but feel bad about it all

I ruined our beautiful date just because my mind couldn't give me a break, it had to bring to reality my memories of my past. Memories of the Hooded figure

“Ugh, but why," I groaned out in frustration as I looked out of the window

Taking in a deep breath, I tried to control my raging nerves, but my mind just couldn't keep still as it drifted back to the Hooded figure

I remembered its beautiful blue eyes, which was just like the ocean, and how captivating it was, it was like a magnet pulling me into an endless abyss, and trust me even without knowing who the hooded figure was, I didn't resist its pull because at that moment all I wanted to do was to know was who is behind that mask

But why did I think I saw the hooded figure at the beach," I cried to myself as I continue to search my mind endlessly for a clue, but as always my mind was blank to the answers I desperately needed

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't know when the car came to a stop, I was still looking out of the window when I felt a slight tap on my shoulders

Hey Tyler we are at your house," Liam said bringing my attention back to him

Oh I'm so sorry, I was lost in thought," I said smiling a bit

Yeah, I could see that," he smirked looking back at me with concern still hovering endlessly in his eyes
