9- I'm fine

I woke up and rolled over flinching at the pain. I looked at the time and it was 7am.

I decided to get up and put my dressing gown on and creep downstairs to get some antibiotics. I looked around and seen there was no one in the house.

I took some tablets and went back upstairs into Mia's room. I got her Disney princess suitcase from the top of her wardrobe and filled it with clothes that would last her 3 weeks.

I got ready and decided to wear the same clothes as yesterday. I was only nipping down the road so I wouldn't bump into anyone.

I got outside when I realized my face was showing.

I ran back inside and closed the door, I ran up to my room and looked through my wardrobe and found a large hoody. I put it on and pulled the hood up to cover my face. I then realized it was Tyler's hoody, I could still smell him through it. Why did he have to ignore me?

I shook off the thought and made my way to where Mia's friend lived. I knocked on the door and kept my head down. The door flung open and the mum stood there

"Here you go, thanks for taking her" I said giving her the suitcase

"Come in if you want, I'm sure Mia would love to see you"She said

"I would love to" I said forgetting about what happened and how I look, I didn't want Mia to see me like this "But, I've got to ....clean the house"

"Oh okay, I'll send your love...are you okay?" She asked

"I'm fine, I'm just...I'm fine"I said turning away and walking down the road

I started walking home keeping my head down. I kept thinking of last night. Maybe I'm just not good enough for anyone, maybe no one loves me. That's when I bump into someone knocking both of us over

"I'm sorry....I'm so sorry" I said standing up and going over to help the other person up

"Rose? Is that you?" She said, it was Tyler's mum Patty. She was basically my second mum and I always called her my mummy number two.

"Hello mummy number two, how are you?" I said giving her a hug

"I'm fine, just missing my boy" My heart sank knowng who she was talking about "Why can't I see your beautiful face?" She said pulling down my hood. Oh no. She looked up and gasped

"What happened to you sweetie? You can tell me everything" She said comforting me

"I...I" I stuttered before breaking down and hugging her crying on her shoulder

"It's okay honey, you're staying at mine tonight" She said while rubbing my back

We started walking back to her house and I told her everything that happened between me and my dad. I also said I was crying because, of stress.

"You're always welcome round my house Rose, I love you, you're like the daughter I never had...now tell me the real reason why you were crying" She stopped me walking and looked into my eyes
