I have a head-canon that Tubbo is Non-Binary, so I will be using they/them pronouns for Tubbo in all my oneshots. Their family didn't accept them so they got sent to the orphanage where they went with Tommy (since they are inseparable) and then got adopted by Philza. This is a vent chapter that is turned into a oneshot so some is vent and some is not.
!!!I have not been in a orphanage so I don't know what they look like or how they work so sorry if it is not how they work!!!
3rd Person
They sat in their room staring at the ceiling of what they think is their new home, the orphanage. Tubbo looks to the side to see their best friend, Tommy, jumping from bed to bed.
"Tommy! Stop that! We will be in deep shit if your caught!" Tubbo whisper-yelled at him. Tommy looked at the slightly older 14 year old and sighed.
"Fine! Only because you had enough problems at home!" Tommy sat down next to his best friend who almost is like his sibling. They smiled and Tommy has he sat next to the child. Tubbo looked at the ground and sighed.
"Tommy? When will we get out of here?" Tubbo asked the taller male. Tommy looked at them and sighed and then hugged them tightly.
"I don't know Tubs.. hopefully soon" Tommy comforted them. They nodded and looked at the door of their room as he got opened.
The children was a man with 2 older boys walking into the room. Tommy stood up and stood in front of the shorter person, the memories at the family they both lived in still haunt them and Tommy looked at Tubbo to ask if he has permission to use Toby and he/him around strangers. Tommy got a sad nod.
"What do you want!" Tommy growled at them.
The old man didn't look scared, "My name is Phil and this is my son, Wilbur and his best friend, Techno. We wanted to visit you two to see if you wanted to come home with us." The old man said and smiled.
Tommy and Tubbo looked at each other in shock. "You want to take us home?" Tommy asked and he got a nod in return.
"Dad! What are their names?" The tall boy, Wilbur grabbed his dad's arm and shook it.
"Im Tommy and this is.. Toby" Tommy said and he hates saying Toby instead of Tubbo but he knows they wouldn't want them to know because of their past.
Tubbo was looking at the ground un-responsive. They had the memories of their family replaying in their head. 'There no such thing as Non-Binary' , 'If you're a man you're a man and if you're a woman you're a woman'
They had tears in their eyes as they hugged Tommy tightly. Tommy hugged back and rubbed the crying child's back.
"Sorry.. Home affected Toby more than me" Tommy frowned and the others nodded at him.
