"Christina!" Bruce smiled as he saw her
"Bruce, nice to see you... sorry I'm not use to the entire Hulk thing yet" Chrissy stated
"Its fine" Hulk said
"I'm glad you both made it" Steve said
"I brought the kids but they are by where the road ends before the rubble of the collapsed compound" Chrissy explained as she saw Bucky walking off to the steps of the device Bruce built
"Can we talk for a sec?" Chris asked him, getting a nod before she pulled him aside from Sam and Bruce
"What's wrong?" He asked
"I just lost a brother and a sister today... I don't think I'm ready to lose another brother" Chris told him
"You're not losing me. I have a little something for you when I come back, I promise" Steve said to her
"But that's it. You're not coming back, old and wrinkly you is. What am I gonna do when I need that 1940 wise advice? Visit you in a care home?" Christina stated
"Guess you'll wait and see" Steve told her
"I'm gonna go wait with him" Chrissy nodded as she walked off and stood with Bucky
"Don't you own this land now?" Bucky asked her
"Shared between me and Pepper... hence why the removal of this crap is in process" Chrissy answered as they saw the jet taking off with a box of the walls just before Sam and Steve walked over
"Don't do anything stupid until I get back" Steve said, making Bucky smile a little
"How can I? You're taking all the stupid with you" Bucky said before they exchanged a hug
"Gonna miss you buddy" He added
"Its gonna be okay, Buck" Steve nodded before he turned to Chrissy
"You'll keep an eye on them, won't you?" Steve asked
"Yep because I am a babysitter for dumbasses" Chris laughed before she hugged him
"Bye spangled spandex, gonna be weird without you scolding me for cursing" Chris added
"I'll make a recording" Steve laughed a little before he walked onto the platform, tapping the suit before grabbing Mjölnir and activating the helmet. Chris did a little wave before Bruce counted down before Steve went. Bruce counted down again, expecting Steve to reappear but he didn't. Chris and Bucky exchanged a look as they turned away only to see someone on a bench down at the water
"Sam" Bucky said, interrupting his and Bruce's little argument. Sam walked over next to Chris and looked in the direction they were looking at. The two men walked ahead while Bruce walked to Christina
"Is that him?" Bruce asked her
"Yep... he wanted a normal life" Chrissy nodded as they walked forward to Bucky as they watched Sam get the shield out and try it on.
A small while later Sam came over to them with the Shield before Chrissy walked over to Steve, sitting next to him
"What care home did you get left in?" Chrissy asked jokingly
"Don't worry, I wrote you the address" He laughed as he handed her a piece of paper
"Was it worth it?" Chris asked him
"It was... I trust you can work your way through this life. A lot of responsibility falls on your shoulders now" Steve said
"I'm not leading the Avengers if that's what your hinting at... I can't" Chrissy said
"You're a born leader but I can't force you" Steve stated
"Considering the new Cap is Sam doesn't that mean he gets to deal with this crap?" Chris asked
"It doesn't matter... I got you this" He said as he handed her a box. She looked confused before she opened it up, seeing a bunch of things that belonged to her mother and family before the accident
"Steve" She smiled with tears in her eyes as she found the photo frame from her 16th birthday of her, Tony and their parents. She placed it down carefully before hugging him
"I managed to take it out of SHIELD when they came to look for clues on the the attack" Steve told her
"It means so much, I can't thank you enough" She said before she found a little CD
"What's this?" She asked
"That recording I promised you" He smiled
"I owe you" Chris said
"You did enough everytime you had my back" Steve answered her
"You literally saved my life countless times"
"And I want you to take this opportunity to live the rest of your life happily with your three kids. You can teach them everything and give them an amazing life" Steve told her
"I want to, I really do... I'm gonna try do my best, just like you did" Chris nodded
"I know you will... you going to go visit that kid your brother liked so much? The one from... Queens" Steve asked
"Hes gonna be under my protection for a while... I want to ensure he is sorted out as best as I can help, then I got Morgan I can take out with the twins... teach Kari more about magic... I got a list" Chris nodded
"Would you mind helping Sam and Bucky within all that?"
"I got Bucky an apartment in Brooklyn... it's small but nice for him, I'm gonna take him there in a month or two... Sam doesn't really need my help unless he wants it. Thor left... Clint... I don't know about him... I want to go see Tasha once more soon... I heard that someone gave her a grave back in Ohio" Chris nodded
"See, you'll be okay. You don't need me" Steve said
"I will always need you still, you went from being just a tale dad told me and... then before we knew it you were working at our side as well as everyone else and it was a big happy family, one I always wanted and I missed parts of it. I mean, Bruce was gone when I came back... Pietro died... Vision is now gone as well... so much has gone wrong but I'm gonna try do something right... I owe them all that" Chris nodded frantically before she showed her phone to Steve
"I made this design... we own a nice big field in Georgia... I want to use it for good" Chris added as she showed a huge stone head covered in flowers with the names of the fallen Avengers on it
"You sure about it?"
"Yes, I am... they all need it.... anyway, I need to go. I have plans" Chris stated
"You go have fun, I'll see you soon" Steve said as Chris picked the stuff up
"Yep, thank you again for this" Chris smiled before she walked off to see Bucky and Sam
"You ready to go?" Bucky asked
"Yep" Chris nodded
"I'm gonna keep in contact and I want updates on everything that comes through you and that group Tasha made" Chris told Bruce
"I'll make sure of it. Be safe" Bruce told them
"Always" Chris smiled as her, Bucky and Sam made their ways upto the cars where the kids were. Chris opened the trunk and placed the box in it before she hugged Sam
"Hey you're Falcon!" Demi said as she and Ollie dangled out the window of the car
"Yep, just call me Sam" He told the two
"Okay, Sammmm" Ollie laughed
"Were gonna take them to my sister in laws before we go look for myself to get my house back" Chris told Sam
"Good luck. I'm gonna go visit my sister... see you both again soon" Sam said
"Hopefully" Chris nodded before they parted ways
