A Broken Frame

Vansh settles himself on the couch and looks at the serene scene how both mother-son are sleeping by hugging each other. He wipes the tear from the corner of his eyes and closes the eyelids to get lost in the past :

It's few days from RiAnsh collision. In pressure of meetings and personal problems of life Vansh has forgot of Riddhima completely. And like other days, today also he is busy to type something furiously and just then his phone starts ringing ; breaking his complete attention he picks up the call to meet a sweet voice.

"Bhai, you've promised to come in my pool party tonight. Only wishing and sending me gift will not do work. So I'm calling you to make you remind. If you don't come tonight then I'll .. yes, I'll not talk with you!"

Vansh smiles knowing it's only HER to ask anything from him. So he answers patiently yet mischievously : "I'm sorry SIYA..you know I'm busy in my Goa deal so I can't come tonight as I've to go to Goa tonight only. I'm sorry princess."

Siya only pronounces "bye and thank you" and with that cuts the call. Vansh smiles loudly at her childish behaviour.

Around 8 pm Vansh enters into the pool party arranged for Siya's birthday and gets impressed with the fineness of the work. However, searching for her he gets to see Siya to talk with some girl whose back is around him. Her black open hair around waist and flying dupatta suddenly reminds him of HER. He gets happy thinking is it HER? There is a possibility because the card says she is a party planner.

So with a full blown smile he goes to them and closes Siya's eyes from back : "Happy Birthday Princess! Many many happy returns of the day and you get blessed with thousand of years so that we can celebrate the day like this."

With this he removes his hands from her eyes at which Siya smiles a big one and hugs her brother. Riddhima is gaping at Vansh and her blood gets lost from her face seeing him before her. How could this arrogant man be present at Siya's birthday? Okay it's stupid to ask but..out of all he has to come before her..if now before all he mocks her?

Siya breaks the hug and finds Vansh's gaze on Riddhima who is standing by lowering her eyes. Siya smiles sensing Vansh's gaze is turning heated so to break the tension she thinks to introduce them : "Bhai, meet Riddhima..she is my junior in college and also a party planner..so knowing her speciality, I've asked her to arrange my party..isn't it best?..and Riddhima, he is Mr Vansh Rai Singhania..my rakhi brother but he is closest to my heart!"

Riddhima smiles nervously at Vansh who straight keeps his hand before for the shake. Riddhima to ease the situation accepts it and Vansh holds her hand tightly to leave and huskily says : "It's arranged beautifully and it has surely touched my heart..Ms Pretty..opps sorry, Ms Riddhima!"

Siya senses there is an igniting fire between the couple so she mischievously smiles as it is a news that Vansh Rai Singhania has finally shown interest to some girl and has openly flirted with her.

So she quickly leaves from there saying : "Okay bhai, you talk with Riddhima for sometime and I'm going at that corner..our group is there so I'm calling them here..they don't know you've played a prank upon us!"

With that she runs from there. And Riddhima tries to take her hand back but Vansh pulls her close to him. At which Riddhima's front collides with Vansh ; both get into a trance of eyelock while Vansh's hidden and unknown feelings start to arise being in touch of her..her soft chest is strongly collided with his strong chest making havoc on their hormones.
