"I'm Mirae, I go to the same school as Eric..." she hesitantly spoke unsure of whether she would call themselves friends yet.

"Ahhh, so you guys aren't..." he made a weird movement with his hands, interlocking them, but it was enough for Mirae to understand what he was trying to say.

"No we're not Hyunsuk, and don't try to play matchmaker on me again, she has a boyfriend."

Eric rolled his eyes, pushing the guy as he stood up, holding out his hand for Mirae.

"Come on let's go."

"Wait. What? Who?"

Hyunsuk grabbed onto Eric's arms, leaning towards him as Eric shook his head, trying to pry away the guys hands.

Mirae laughed at the sight, holding her hand to her mouth as she giggled. Upon seeing this Eric smiled, pushing Hyunsuk away as far as he could.

"Mirae! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I just left you and- oh hey Eric. Hyunsuk."

Sunwoo reached for Mirae, holding her hand as he pulled her up, waving at Eric and Hyunsuk.

"Hey be careful where you touch her she has a boyfriend." Hyunsuk looked Sunwoo up and down, raising his eyebrows.

"Oh yeah that would be me." Sunwoo smirked as he bent down placing a kiss on Mirae's cheek, making Hyunsuk and Eric widen their eyes as well as everyone around them who happened to notice what was going on.

Sunwoo laughed to himself at everyone's reaction before meeting the cold eyes of a girl on the other side of the room.

- a couple minutes ago -

"Ah... where is she?" Sunwoo looked around desperately trying to find Mirae, who he had cowardly lost. He smiled and waved for the hundredth time as people walked past him. It wasn't until a cold hand grabbed a hold of his arm, that he stopped.

"What do you want Hana?" He coldly looked down at the girl who looked up at him suspiciously.

"You don't actually think I believe you and Min Mirae are together right?" Hana smirked as she saw the slight shake in his pupils.

"What are you talking about?"

"I know you Sunwoo, a little too well in fact." Sunwoo gulped, trying his best to look unfazed, when really he was getting quite anxious.

"Look at her... so innocent and naive. She could easily be eaten alive by anyone here, and you of all people would know that. How dangerous it is for a stupid girl like her to hang around here."

Sunwoo grit his teeth, tensing his jaw as Hana relentlessly spewed out harsh words about Mirae who had done nothing wrong.

"Don't talk about her like that. It's you who's too stupid to understand that I don't like you anymore." With one last glare, Sunwoo removed Hana's hand from his arm and began walking towards Mirae.

"Mirae! Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I just left you and- oh hey Eric. Hyunsuk."

Sunwoo reached for Mirae, holding her hand as he pulled her up, waving at Eric and Hyunsuk.

Sunwoo looked down at the slightly shocked girl and smiled.

"Do you wanna go outside?" Mirae simply nodded as Sunwoo entwined their hands and pulled her into the backyard.

Upon finding a place, where there wasn't a group of people crowding over each other, Sunwoo let go of Mirae's hand as he smiled apologetically.

"Sorry..."

"Huh what for?"

He looked at Mirae. If Hana was right about anything, it was that Mirae was truly innocent. Her eyes sparkled with curiosity and wonder, a warmth in itself. But he could see deep down there was a dark hole, the true identity of her warm brown eyes.

"I'm sorry for bringing you here, I'm sorry for not being by your side and I'm sorry for kissing you... I was talking with Hana and she said she didn't believe we were really together."

Mirae's smile faltered, but she tried her best not to let her lips fall, knowing clearly it was contract relationship and she was the one who agreed to do it.

"No that's okay. It was fun, well at least so far." Mirae chuckled, looking down at Sunwoo's hand which hung by his side.

"Is it okay if I hold your hand?" The girl asked. Sunwoo looked at the girl who stared back into his boba eyes, a faint blush tinted on her cheeks.

"Actually, no, sorry that was really random and I-" Mirae was held speechless as she felt Sunwoo's warm hands wrap around her own.

Her heart began beating rapidly and her face felt warm, she looked away, hiding her face as she heard the faint laughter from behind her.

Sunwoo watched as Mirae subtly hid her flustered self as he too felt his own face heat up. His stomach churned and twist, he couldn't help but smile as the girl turned back round, gripping tighter onto his hand.

He wasn't sure what he felt for the girl, everything was happening too quick and she was too beautiful, heart and soul too. Sunwoo couldn't help but fall under her spell, but he had not yet realised what this weird feeling was, and perhaps it may be the belated realisation that pulls her further away from him.
