Kai sighed, he couldn't put this off any longer. He grabbed one of the mics and walked to the backstage area. He spotted her there, clad in a big, poofy pink dress. They made eye contact, but as they did she quickly looked away. He walked over to her.

"Hey Els, long time no see." he felt so awkward seeing her again.

"Hey Kai, what do you want?" She spoke so softly, so timidly.

"I. Uh I need to hook you up." Kai stuttered as he spoke, he was usually more confident, he didn't even feel bad about what he did so long ago, he just felt wrong seeing her again.

"Oh ok, just hand it over to me and-"

"Actually, since these are brand new and all Doc and Kerry asked that I PERSONALLY attach it to everyone." Kai gave her a half hearted smile.

"Yeah but like to do that you'd need to attach it to my bra, and idk if I'd be comfortable with that." Ella looked at Kai with concern.

"Listen right, it won't be a picnic for me either but it ain't nothin I haven't seen before, in one show alone I see you in your bra atleast three times cuz of costume changes, so stop being so difficult?"

"It's not about that-"

Kai immediately cut her off, "I know. I know exactly what you don't want me to see, but I've decided that you're old enough to make your own decisions, that applies to this too."

Elle looked at Kai with tears in her eyes. "Yeah, go ahead."

Kai unzipped her dress, as he did, he saw it. Again. Her smooth white skin, had big blotches of purple and red marks. You could see that she had tried to conceal it with makeup but it was too dark to have been covered up well. "He did it again I see."

"Yeah, but it was my fault." She murmured

"Oh? And what did you do?" Kai said as he was attaching the mic to her bra strap.

"I...I looked at another girl."

"I'd tell you to leave him but we both know that won't happen. So all I can really say is, sorry. Sorry he did this, and sorry I failed you." Kai zipped up her dress again

"It's not your fault." She said timidly.

"Well it wasn't yours either." Kai said as he walked away from Elle.

Kai walked back over to the green room, he was bored and thought he might go meet the new faces. As he opened the door the atmosphere felt heavy, he knew why.
Without a second thought he sighed and opened his mouth,

"Just for looking this time?"Kai asked, not even sparing a glance to stare at the man who was staring at him from the stage doorway.

"She needed to learn" Jacob said.

Jacob was a short, blonde, blue eyed white boy. His face covered in acne.

"Learn what? How to be your obedient little slave?" Kai asked calmly.

"She needs to learn what's right! " Jacob hissed at Kai.

Kai turned around and swung his fist at Jacob, it hit its destination with a loud thud. The wall next to Jacob was cracked, Kai's fist embedded in it.

"I wanted to say if you loved her you'd let her be herself but...garbage like you obviously wouldn't get love." Kai said, while gritting his teeth.

Jacob looked terrified, yet Kai could see the seething hatred in his eyes. Kai scoffed and started to walk away,

"you don't deserve my fist."

He was almost out the door when his leg couldn't move anymore. He looked down and saw mushrooms, holding his foot down.

"Now you'll feel my real power!" Jacob yelled.
