Takemicchi attempts to take in a long breath. He starts shuddering and shaking like he’s gonna sob.
He pushes himself up. Fully prepared to yell, because Takemicchi cannot seriously still be—
Takemicchi is pointing at a picture on the shelf attached to their headboard.
Takemicchi is still sobbing when he says, “I think we’re married.”
