He has a huge fear of needles, and it's really bad. Tom has to go to the doctors with him if Edd can't just to pin him down so that the doctor can give him something as simple as a flue short. But in the end he does get ice cream or something as Tom's way to say good job. There was one time where he didn't have to be held down for his shots though!
