"Finally." Richard said as soon as he picked up. "You called back."
"What're you doing?" Nate chuckled hearing relief in Richard's voice.
"Was on a call with Seven, babbling about how Bill was making his life miserable."
Nate was not shocked. Bill had been a constant topic between Seven and Richard. As, Richard had a habit of telling his boyfriend everything, Nate knew almost everything about Seven.
Even if Seven had no idea who he had been to Richard.
"Really? What did Bill Smith do?" Nate asked as he lied down on his stomach.
"Apparently, he met Seven by the pool and-" Richard went silent and Nate frowned. He was going to say 'hello?' when Richard spoke again. "Why are we talking about someone else?"
"Because, that someone is your best friend and no matter how much you two denied it, you need and love each other." Nate supplied like the braniac he was.
"Not more than you." Richard replied, goofing.
"You better not." Nate laughed, but jumped out of his skin when a knock came from his door.
