To The Island

(The Next Day)

"Hey, Nathan, Ella, land ho", Sam stated, as Morning rolled in, Nate, Ella, and Sam set off for the island, Sully ended up staying behind, as the two got up, a small island was in the distance, "what do you think about that, huh",

"That's pretty cool", Nate said

"Take the wheel for a second", Sam asked as Nate took the wheel, Sam walked over towards a cooler and grabbed two beers and a water "you know, with all this running around, surviving by the skin of our teeth... I don't think we've actually taken a moment... to step back and appreciate... just how far we've come", Sam handed Nate a beer and Ella the water due to her condition, "Sic Parvis Magna",

"Sic Parvis Magna", both Nate and Ella said in unison, the three bringing the bottles together and taking a drink, not long after, the three made it to the island

"Huh, somehow I imagined it a little... bigger", Sam said

"Yeah, well, we're definitely in the right place, I'll find us a spot to set ashore", Nate stated, driving forward

"Well, I mean... at least there's an island, right", Sam asked

"I don't know why, but something feels off; don't get me wrong, the view of the ocean is beautiful, but I don't think this is right", Ella explained

"Only one way to find out", Nate said, parking the boat by the shore, there, on an island was a watchtower, leaving the boat, the three began climbing, as they reached the top, they saw what appeared to be of a door, with a button in the center, Nate walked up and wiped the dust from the button, revealing a golden arrow pointing upward

"Looks like a compass arrow", Sam said, pushing the button, the doors moved to the side, the window opening, and from the islands around, arrows began appearing

"How did you know to do that", Ella asked

"Well, if there's one thing I've learned from Nathan, press everything", Sam stated, making Nate laugh, "look down there, same symbol",

"Another arrow", Nate asked

"Let's go see where it's pointing, huh", Sam asked, the three rappelling down from the tower and jumping back into the boat and were on the trail of the arrows, the arrows led the three into a cave where they soon had to climb, as they reached the upper exit of the cave, the three found a doorway, getting closer, they could see that there was no way through the entrance, finding another way around, the three eventually made it into the cistern-like place

"Whoa", Ella said, looking around the area, walking into a room, a door with a pressure plate was there

"How much are you willing to bet...", Nate began, stepping on the pressure plate and the door began to open

"There we go", Sam said, after a few feet, the door stopped moving

"Ah, crap, mechanism's busted or something", Nate muttered

"Oh no, no, no, one way or another we're getting in there", Sam stated, getting in front of the door, motioning Nate and Ella to help him, not long after, the three were lifting the door up

"Ah, crap, this is heavy", Ella grunted

"Just think about that treasure", Sam grunted, everyone moving into the room one-by-one, while holding the door open

"Yeah, mostly just thinking about my back", Nate grunted, as the three were in the room, they let the door close

"You alright", Ella asked

"Yeah... back's ok, what about you", Nate asked

"Out of breath... but alright", Ella replied as the three walked in the room
