"No! No! No!"

"Jeezus fucking Christ!"

"Jordan!" I snapped at him for being dramatic.

"What?! She's making my ears fucking bleed!!"

"Why the hell did I come home?" Dad sighed coming in the door to this mad house.

"Make her stop!" Jordan shot at Dad who just looked at me.

"I ain't the parent here." I told him since it's always like this when we get left alone to watch our younger siblings. Something always goes wrong.

"Y'all just let her scream like this?"

"Father do something's she's a fucking fire alarm!" Jordan spat covering his ears again.

"Okay can you act your age?" Dad sighed going to Cassidy. The blonde four year old from the depths of hell. "Cass why are you screaming?"

"J-Jordy to-told m-me no!" She shrieked, Dad hated it when anyone of us cried or screamed. It's always been like that.

"We don't screa-" Cass cut him off with her fit and Dad picked her up. "Owen come out here for a little."

"Is Mom home?"

"Not yet." Owen walked out of our parents bedroom not phased by her fit. Everyone tended to wander over to their room and not where we slept. "You're going into time out because you keep screaming. When I come back you better calm down. Got it?"

"Whatcha got there?" I leaned over more so Owen could see the pages of the magazine I was reading as Cass gave a last scream as Dad closed the door.

"Some rag mag." I spoke and Owen nodded looking at the pictures of dresses.

"Chip go turn the tv on." Jordan motioned for our younger brother to do it for him.

His nickname was Chip because him and his best friend are always together. My Uncle Steve calls them Chip and Dale, peoples reasons vary. Uncle Steve's reason is that they get stupider together because his son Curtis was just like Owen. Same age, same demeanour, same brain cells. My Uncle Soda also had a boy Owens age named Jesse, the three stooges but that never stuck since Jesse is a more timid kid. Mom always said he's like Uncle Soda, always smiling and sweet never running around screaming.

"What would I get in return?" Owen gave a smart ass comment. I held back a smile since he usually can mouth off all of us only when our parents conveniently aren't there to hear.

"Not a kick in the ass."

"Maybe you need a foot up yours." Chip muttered before going to the tv. Jordan didn't know what to say to him.

"I'm pretending I didn't hear that." Dad said and I began laughing.

"He's fucking six!" Jordan sat up on the couch to complain.

"Stop swearing and maybe he won't know every curse out there." Dad reasoned but Jordan shook his head sitting up on the couch.

"That's crap you know why?"

"I don't really care Jordan." Dad was in the fridge, whenever he is home before Mom he knows he has to cook and hates it.

"Loser." I mumbled flipping the page as Chip sat down next to me again.

"It's genetics that's why, yours."

"What's your biology mark again?"

"Higher then yours." Jordan sassed Dad who
never went to high school.

"I just ate shit." Austin announced coming into the house with a smile plastered on his face per usual.

"Wh-dumbass." Jordan laughed since Austin had grass stains on his knees and shorts.
