..Chapter twenty nine..

Ink POV:
   
    I slowly opened my eyes and sat up and looked to my side and saw Nightmare peacefully sleeping, I blushed remembering what had happened the night before...
We were a thing now...
I carefully got out of bed and walked out of the room, going down the stairs and wandering the halls. As I walked I couldn't help but feel something was off...
   
    But I shook it off thinking it was merely just me being weird and continued walking toward the kitchen. Once I arrived at the kitchen I saw Killer already awake and drinking coffee. God did he look awful, he looked like he hadn't slept all night! He just seemed sad. I was worried for him, so approached him with a friendly smile,"Good morning Killer, did you sleep well?" I asked, He looked over,"Uh- yeah.." he said staring at his cup, I sat next to him..

    He continued staring at his mug," Hey, I couldn't help but ask if you were okay? You look like you didn't sleep at all last night. And I know it's probably none of my business but I just had to ask in case..." Killer made eye contact once again
," You know you can talk to me, this can be just between us." I said calmly, Killer started tearing up,"I- I" he started,"What's wrong Killer..." "I liked him" he finally said "What-? Who..?" "Boss!...I loved him so much, but he never knew.. I...I never had the guts to say anything" he said chuckling quietly,"But..then you showed up, and he started acting differently around you..never really thought much of it at first..
I thought he'd just see you as another member, but then you guys started hanging out and the way he looked at you and held you, it just...it honestly kinda broke my heart" I looked at him,"I..." I said having hardly any words,"But the night I had the courage to say something to him, It was also the night he happened to be doing the same...To you"

    " It broke me, But it's my fault I waited too long...and I should be happy for you guys, I wish I could be...but I can't get over him, he still has a place in my heart..." Killer said
," Killer...I'm so sorry, I wish I had known! I would've stayed out of  your way.." "No..he seems happier with you anyway" he replied wiping his tears. I gave him a tight hug,"I'm sure you will find someone else to make you happy Killer, but I'm so sorry for doing this to you, I should've known!" I let go, Killer smiled,"It's okay, thanks for listening. I needed to get that off my chest" I smiled once more," Well thank you for telling me, it makes me happy to know you trust me enough to tell me these things" Killer nodded and stood up with his mug and walked off, in a much brighter mood than before.

I also got up and got a surprise hug from behind,"Morning love.." Nightmare said,"Morning" I replied turning around to hug him back," Did you sleep well?" I asked, "Mhm..anyways, what were you and Killer talking about?"  "Nothing important" I replied, I couldn't tell Nightmare about our conversation, I had already said it would just be between us.

"Alright then, I'm making food. Want anything specific?" "No, thanks for asking though"  Nightmare nodded and I walked off heading toward the art room...

sorry for not posting lately- schools starting soon and other reasons as well..
Ideas for the book are coming slower so I apologize for it.
