Make Me Stay : Twenty Five

My mind was still in a mess that I want to acuse her about what happened but I don't want to either. I trust her. I don't think she can do that but now, I'm having second thoughts— what if she can? What if she's really the one who's behind this?

If that is true, then it only means this is all my fault.

I trusted too much. I trusted easily..

"This is all my fault."

"It's noone's fault Mina. Let's just wait for Chaeyoung. She's the only one who knows what exactly happened"

Our thoughts were suddenly stopped by a phone ring.

"Guys, wait. It's Tzuyu.."

"Answer it, Sana. I'm sure it's about Chaeng"

I felt nervousness as Sana take the call. I can't see her reaction so I listened intently until the phone call was done

"Guys—"

"How's Chaeng, Satang? How's my wife?"

I felt a hand squeezed my shoulder before wiping my tears away

"She's safe, Mitang. Tzuyu told me the operation was done and Chaeng's finally out of danger."

"Oh thanks God! Where is she? Can we go to her?"

"Tzuyu said the nurses were currently preparing her to transfer in a room.."

I hug Sana due to so much joy and happiness. Chaeyoung is safe. She's out of danger. God, she really scared me

"She's now safe,Mina. Now, calm yourself down. We'll go and see your wife later"

"But how about Yuna, Nayeon unnie—"

"Jeongyeon and the others can look after Yuna. Don't worry okay? Everyone is here for you and Chaeyoung, always.."

I've been holding Chaeyoung's hand while she's peacefully sleeping in her bed. The girls left me alone in Chaeyoung's room for some privacy.

Feeling her warm skin against mine brought thousands of memories and happiness to me. It's just so sad that things like this has to happen just to be this close to her again

Hearing her breathe calms me.

Her presence was enough to take all my worries and nervousness away in an instant. That's how much comfort she can give me. She can easily take all of my sadness and pain away just by simply being close to me

"You scared me,baby.."

I kissed her hand and gently touched her face. I can still recall how perfect her sleeping face was. Eyes shut close tightly while her mouth was slightly open. Her sleeping habits—random nose scrunches with her little snores. That's how lovely is she when she's sleeping

A tear escaped my eyes once again as I remember How my personal nurse describe the scene earlier. Yuna was in the arms of Chaeyoung. Our baby is in her arms. She saved her, she really did

"Thanks for saving our little angel,baby. I'm so proud of you"

She always says that she hates kids when in fact she really adores them. I know she does and risking her life just to save Yuna from danger is the biggest proof that she really cares

If only I could see the way she look at Yuna..

A thought about my donor suddenly crossed my mind which made me smile. I can't wait to see he again. I can't wait to see her smile, her eyes, everything about her

"I can't wait to see you again,baby. I can't wait to make new memorieswith you and our baby,Yuna. I really can't wait but for now, heal yourself first and I promise you that one of these days, I'll be able to look at you straight in the eyes again and tell you much I love you—"

I was stopped when suddenly I heard that familiar voice again. That sweet voice that I once loved but now I use to hate.

No it can't be..It can't be her...

I tried my best to hide my fear but deeo inside, I'm really scared not just for myself but for Chaeyoung as well

"That kinda hurts,Mina. Did you really forget me?"

"I know you can't see me but I was kinda hoping that you could still recognize my voice but I guess I'm wrong. You're so unfair. How can you forget me that easily when I couldn't even get you out of my head for a minute"
