"Damn boi so you really did beat her, and with some fancy ass card tricks?" Dana laughed.

"Wait was there a debate on whether I beat her or not?" Kai asked, visibly confused.

"Well she told us she beat you." Dana said.

"Oh ofcourse she did, bitch. Well I actually destroyed her ass. Ask her to lift up her shirt, it'll either be bandages or scars." Kai was fed up of Anna at this point.  "What about you though? What's your sigil?" Kai asked.

"You don't need to know yet."

"Cmon I shows you mine show me yours!" Kai laughed.

"Bitch all 5 of us know your sigil."

"5?" Kai asked.

"Oh shit..." Dana covered her mouth realizing her blunder.

A card sped to her neck again. " I want names." Kai said in a cold unfeeling tone.

"I ca-" she was cut off by Kai

"Three seconds Dana. 3."

"Kai wait we can talk about-"

"2." Kai pushed the card further, restricting her oxygen flow.

"Kai, *gag* we ca-"

"1." The force being pushed onto Dana's neck was enough to start drawing blood from her throat.

"NINA, ESTER,  NATASHA AND AL!" Dana yelled as she sped through the names of Anna's groupies.

"Thank you." Kai said with a cheery smile as his card flew back into his hand, he shook it a bit to get the blood off and put it in its box.

"Fuck you, this better not fuck up my singing."Dana scowled at Kai.

"Not my problem, you should've given me the info sooner." Kai said, not even looking at Dana,

"You shouldn't have pushe-"

"Downside of playing both sides hun,"  Kai scoffed. As Dana walked off kai looked at himself in the reflection of a window. His eyes glowed red as he said to himself.
"So that's who they are huh? Well then this'll be fun."

Kai's phone rang. He looked at it and saw the contacts name, Kerry, Kai's boss.

"Hey Kerry....fine and you?....yeah it's been a while since I was at the theatre....this Saturday?...I'll be there!....see you then!" Kai put down his phone.

It was high time he returned to where it all started.

Soooo it's been a bit I know. It was hell week at school what with it being the week with the most number of exams. After that I needed to just take a few days off so my brain would un melt lmao😭😭
Just know I'm still way into this story, it's still coming and don't loose interest please n thanks <3

Sorry about this one being a bit short, I just didn't want it to feel stagnated  so I wanted to write another chapter. Doesn't mean I half assed this though! I still poured my heart and soul into it just like every other chapter! And yeah it is pretty significant to the plot, dropping some subtle and some not so subtle hints about the future and the past.

About the book itself, it's gonna kick off. I'm tryna have some "filler episodes" to balance out the action and heavy heavy plot things, though I'm still tryna keep the plot sprinkled in. A great writer once told me that every detail they write links to something in some way so that's what I try to do even if it's extremely subtle.

Also about the book just know dark skin means black and light skin means white. Any other skin I'll most likely say like with kai he's got Indian skin. It's just saying he's black and he's white makes it sound a lot more heavy and charged than just light and dark skin, though I thought I'd add this note in for future reference for y'all.
