Back Story

Third person POV:

Persephone Jackson just moved to Midvale to attend the seventh year of school.

It's her first day at Midvale junior high. Persephone or Percy as she liked to be called was deep in thought as she journeyed to school, with the recent events occupying her mind.

She was thinking about her friends and everything they have been through together in the past year. She was taken to camp half blood and given a quest with Annabeth and Grover to travel across America finding everything they need to save her mother, who was taken by her uncle to the underworld. And later she found out that Luke, one of Annabeth's closest friends, had betrayed them.

She was pulled out of her thoughts by her mother who was notifying her that they had arrived. Even though personally she felt that she had bigger things to be concerned about she was nervous for how the first day of school was going to play out.

Percy's POV:

" have a good day honey, and try your best not to get in any trouble," my mother said as she waved goodbye to me.

I could briefly hear the chatter that surrounded me as I walked into the school building.

After I got my schedule I started heading for my first class which just so happened to be my least favourite subject. Maths.

It was about 20 minutes into the lesson and I was trying my hardest to pay attention and not fall asleep when I heard a voice whisper, "hey, are you new here?" I nodded. "Well my name is Kara, Kara Danvers."

And from that moment on we became best friends. Even after I moved to different areas and schools we always kept in touch. And after the second war I told her about the mythological world.

But little did I know she had her own secrets. She was Superman's cousin. She was an alien. Many people would think that this would push us away from each other but it only brought us closer together. Because no matter what crazy things happened in our lives we were always there for each other. We could sympathise with one another.

I was there for her when she first came out of Supergirl.

And for 16 years we were each other's best friend and comfort person and nothing could ever change that. No monsters or primordials. No criminals or violence. Nothing could change the way we cared and loved each other.

And who would've thought Supergirl and Percy Jackson would be best friends.
