Quick shout out to @_Miss_Luca_for this story idea. For those of you that don't know what Haphephobia is let me explain. Haphephobia is a rare specific phobia that involves the fear of touching or of being touched. Please understand that this chapter might be emotional. Thank you for reading.

"Nat I can't do this!" You exclaimed throwing your arms down in defeat.

She gave a soft sigh along with a smile. "You can. I'm making this my mission to help you (Y/n)."

You frowned, "then you're going to fail your so called mission. I need some air." You said as you exited the training room heading out to the balcony.

For the past three years since you arrived at the tower Natasha has been trying to help you get over your fear of being touched. You wanted to get over this fear just as much as she wanted you to. It was difficult but Nat knew that this would take time. She out of everyone understood. It was hard for everyone to adjust to your fear, especially Steve, he is a very touchy person. he is a kind person who would always want to give encouraging pats on the back telling you to 'keep your head up.'

You heard the door open behind you, "well look at what we have here."

Loki. He on the other-hand found enjoyment in your fear. You rolled your eyes and lowered your head.

"Please not now Loki." You sighed

Loki could tell you were upset about something, probably another failed attempt at Nat's "training." Loki closed the door and cautiously approached you taking a place next to you. He opened his mouth to say something but couldn't find what to say. He knew that this was hard on you.

"No, if you're going to ask. I still haven't gotten over my fear." You stated.

Loki glanced over in your direction. You lifted your head, staring straight ahead at the city. You thought about all the times Loki had touched you, every time it had sent you into a mild anxiety attack. His touch was always cold, probably the perks of being a frost giant. Truthfully you had feelings for the God, which made things much more complicated.

"You probably never will." Loki broke the silence.

You scoffed, "thanks for that."

Loki turned fully towards you causing you to look at him. "You need a push. You're never going to get over this unless forced."

Your heart sank, fear began to spread through your body. Forced? You shook your head.

"Loki you've already pushed your limits with me, please don't cross the line." You stated.

You weren't in the mood for his games, today has been tough as it is. You walked towards the door, opening it and entering back into the tower. Loki followed closely.

"Then don't make one." He said.

Ignoring him you continue towards the kitchen to grab a quick drink. Coincidentally almost everyone was there as well, eating and talking about the last mission. Once you entered the room with Loki everyone became silent, watching this play out. You went to go open the fridge but a hand stopped you from opening it. Turning around you realized Loki has trapped you in with his body. Both of his hands on either side of your head. You stare into his emerald green eyes with fear.

"I told you to stop." You breathed out slightly shaking.

Loki's eyes pleaded with you, he wanted you to stay strong, to allow him to help you get over your fear. Why is Natasha the only one who gets to help you? He used his stare as an advantage and put both of his hands on your shoulders. Shivers went up and down your spine. You couldn't help but scream, falling down to the floor. In the matter of seconds Loki had been slammed into the nearby wall by Bucky. (SHHH its a fanfiction and I believe Bucky fits in this situation). His metal arm pressed tightly against Loki's throat.

Loki felt terrible, hearing your scream put a hole in his heart. He looked down towards you with regret. Loki watched as Steve made his way to you, making sure not to touch you, but trying to get your attention. To calm you down. With a shaky breath you stood up, propping yourself against the fridge. Tears threatened to fall as you looked towards Loki meeting his eyes once again.

"I-I'm-" He started but couldn't finish as you ran away from the situation.

Bucky released his hold on Loki. "You asshole. We've been over this! They don't like to be touched." Bucky nearly screamed.

Everyone glared at Loki. He felt ashamed of his actions, knowing he hurt you made him want to break down himself. Thor came over to his bother with a angry look.

"Wait! Wait! Please bother, I know I took my actions too far." Loki put his hands up, trying to make some distance. "Allow me to apologize to them. Please."

Thor saw something in Loki he hasn't seen for awhile. Sympathy. Thor saw that Loki was truly upset with himself. He nodded, moving himself and Bucky to the side, allowing Loki to run after you.

"You touch them again and I will-" Bucky began but Loki blocked him out. Loki focused himself on finding you.

You sat in the corner of your room, shaking and crying. Reliving your trauma in your head. A knock on the door interrupted your daydream. It was probably Steve or Nat coming to your need. You couldn't find the will to move.

"C-Come in..." You tried to say as loud as your voice would let you.

Loki felt surprised hearing you say that but he opened the door scanning the room for you. His eyes stopped on your tiny body in the corner. His breathing hitched as he saw the wet tears run down your beautiful face. You weren't expecting Loki to be in your room. Never once has he come to check up on you after he poked at your fear. Though he hasn't done anything like this before. The room was only slightly lit with one light on.

Loki closed the door, cautiously approaching you. Once he felt he was close enough he sat down in front of you. He made sure to be far away enough to give you the space you needed. With teary eyes you look at him. He felt as if he'd been shot by a million arrows in the chest, your eyes were so sad and scared. He thought back to all the times he'd touch you, when you handed him a drink, he would make sure to linger his hand on yours. It never effected you this much.

He said your name with a quiet voice. "I'm so sorry. I never meant to... scare you. Make you upset over my actions. I figured the only way to help you is by touching you more often then just in your training. I want you to get over your fear if it's at all possible. I never meant to hurt you. Please believe me when I say this."

You couldn't help but feel happy that he apologized. Finally you understood that he wanted to help you, not hurt you.

You sniffled and wiped your eyes with your shirt. "Thank you Loki."

Loki couldn't help but smile and feel relieved that you forgave him. He nodded and went to stand up.

"Loki." You said trying to have him stay a little longer. He stopped from getting up and stayed seated. "I trust you."

The God tilted his head in confusion. You smile and held out your hand for him to touch.

"Bucky said if I touch you-" Loki began but was cut off by you.

"I'm asking you to touch me."

Loki smiled a warm smile at you. "Well, I can't deny you."

He slowly brought his hand towards yours. Loki bit the inside of his cheek in worry you might get upset again but once his hand met yours, you didn't take away your hand from his touch. Your hand looked much smaller against his. Loki chuckled softly.

"Progress." He said.

The two of you stayed like that for a moment. It felt peaceful.
