CHAPTER 11

JENNIE POV

I'm here now eating breakfast with mom, since Dad and Lisa's father went on a business trip. I haven't slept well because that fucking Manobal hasn't called or text me and it makes me worry as fuck!

"Dear, are you ok? You're bending the fork"

"Wh-what?!" I quickly look at the fork which is almost formed like a 90° angle then back to mom "I-I'm sorry, something is just stressing me out" I drop the fork and drink some water

"What is it dear? Mind telling me?" Mom puts down her utensils and sits up, as if she's ready to listen already. I just look at her and sigh

"Is it about Kai? Work? Ummm Lisa?" I quickly look up when I heard her name "Gotcha!" Mom giggles "What about her? Did you both fight or something?"

"No" I sigh heavily "She urgently left last night for Japan and she hasn't texted or call me yet"

"Maybe she was pretty tired sweety, she left last night so probably she arrived by early morning?" Mom explains and she seems right. Maybe Lisa quickly dozed off as soon as she arrived at her hotel

I smile slightly and continue eating. We're going out to pick up the invitations and hand it over to me and Kai's guests personally. It will be such a busy day....

It was still a long way to go. I first hand out the first set of invitations to me and Kai's family. Of course they know me. That only happened for half of the day and I plan to rest after driving around inside and outside Seoul.

"Dear, what about we get some snacks?" Mom pointed out to a cafe. I just nod and smile before I turn towards the cafe and park

"Shin-hye!" Mom was greeted by Lisa's mom

"Oh! Ye-jin!" They both hug each other like they haven't seen each other for years.

"Hey aunty" I smile and kiss her cheeks. Since aunty just arrive, I let them settledown while I order for us. As soon as I got our orders, I went back to sit between them. Of course, I don't get what they're talking about. Probably about some young famous men? And I hate talking about men which is why I decided to just open my phone and scroll through social media

"WHAT THE F?!" I curse when I saw my social media full of Lisa's tagged pictures with different people and mostly are girls.

"Jennie! Language!" Mom scolds. I quickly bow in apology and stalk each one of those girls. I can't name them all but mostly I can see these girls named Joy, Minnie, Niki, Diana having the most pictures with Lisa. Those names are trash! Tsk!

"So you we're having fun huh?" I scoff "You're already exchanging me with some girls now huh?!" I clench my jaw as I keep scrolling Lisa's pictures with girls while cursing at them silently

"JENNIE!" I flinch when Mom called for me

"Jennie sweetie are you alright?" Aunty asks
