Chapter 36

"Yeah, right?! Gwapo na, may abs pa!" Komento ni Lia.

"Saan kapa?!" Magkasabayang bigkas ng dalawa. "Kay Jack kana!" The both of them shrieked.

"Stop it, you two!" Asar na saway ni Jace sa dalawa.

Hindi rin maipinta ang mukha ni Nathan dahil sa naririnig.

Natigil naman ang dalawa dahil sa hindi maganda ang mood ng dalawa.

The bell rings, and Kyler was announced as the winner.

Elites has now two points.

Kung magtutuloy tuloy ito, paniguradong ang Elites na ang mananalo.

Ang susunod na lalaban ay si Ashley at glaciers ang kalaban nito.

Maganda ang laban. Yelo laban sa yelo.

Parehas na magaling ang bawat koponan. They both can counter each attacks.

Natapos na ang sampong minuto. Walang naitalagang nanalo. It was a tie match.

The battle goes on.

Serene lost her battle against the glaciers.

Nathan lost his battle too against the sorcerers.

While Jace wins his battle against the Vampires. Against Lucas.

"ONLY TWO matches left!" The emcee announced. "Two matches from the Elites, one from the Vampires and one from the Elves! If the Elites win this two matches, they will be proclaimed as the winner of the First Annual Knighthood Contest! Is everyone ready for the last two matches?!" The crowd went wild with their loud screams and cheers.

"For the next match! Elites vs Vampires! Trevor vs. Marcus!"

Sumampa na ang dalawang koponan sa arena. Parehong blanko ang ekspresyon ng mga ito.

"Why don't we make a bet?" Ngisi ni Marcus. "If you win, I will not be a hindrance for you and Ereese. And if I win, I'll take Ereese with me. She'll be mine."

"What made you think that I'll agree with what you were saying?" Trevor asked pissed.

Marcus shrugged. "Because it's Ereese who we are talking about. I'll do anything for her---"

"THE BOTH OF YOU! AKO ANG PAPATAY SA INYO KAPAG HINDI PA KAYO NAGSIMULA!" Dinig nilang sigaw ng isang boses.

Namutla ang dalawa ng makilala nila kung kanino ang boses na iyon.

"Crap!" Marcus cussed. "She's not joking when she said that she'll going to kill us."

"Then, let's end this." Ani ni Trevor atsaka unang sumugod kay Marcus.

Masyadong mabilis ang kilos ni Marcus kaya hindi tumatama ang mga suntok at sipang pinapakawalan ni Trevor.

Hand to hand combat will do nothing in their battle. He needs to use his powers.

Trevor steps back as he place his right hand on his side.

Unti-unting parang may itim na fragments ang namumuo sa kanang kamay ni Trevor.

Later on, the right hand of Trevor is now engulfed with a fire. A black fire.

Agad na kumalat ang apoy sa arena at parang may buhay itong gumapang papunta kay Marcus. His opponent tries to escape pero pilit pa rin itong hinahabol ng itim na apoy na nanggagaling sa kamay ni Trevor.

Iwinasiwas ni Trevor ang kamay niya sa ere at parang latigong nahuli ng apoy nito ang kalaban.

Marcus was now tied up with this black fire and groaning with pain. He can't moved.

The bell rang.

"As expected from the prince, Trevor of Elites won!"

Pinakawalan na ni Trevor si Marcus at walang pasabing bumaba ng arena at dumeretso kay Ereese at niyakap ito.

"It not a fair fight. He did not fought back." He whispered while hugging Ereese. "I can feel his ability. He did not even use it. Is he underestimating me?"

"I know." Naisagot ni Ereese. "I know Marcus. He's not underestimating you. It's just that, from the very beginning, alam na niyang natalo mo na siya sa isang bagay. He accepted his defeat by not fighting you back."

Mas lalong humigpit ang yakap ni Trevor dito. "I'm not competing against him.."

Akmang sasagot si Ereese ng tawagin ang pangalan nito.

"For the last battle, Elites against Elves! Ereese vs. Elijah!"

Kumalas sa yakap si Ereese at walang imik na pumunta sa arena.

Agad na na-activate ang barrier hudyat na simula na ng laban.

Elijah launched an attacked with his sword.

Ereese summoned her sword and blocked his attacked.

Puro kalansingan ng espada ang naririnig mula sa arena.

Ereese twirl her sword and pushed Elijah's hand. Tumilapon ang espada nito. Walang sinayang na oras si Ereese at umatake ito sa kalaban niya.

She jumped. She positioned her right left on Elijah's shoulder. Ginamit niya ang paa niyang nasa balikat ng kalaban at tinulak ang sarili pataas. She did back flipped but her left foot hit Elijah's chin.

Elijah spat blood pero agad din niya itong pinunasan at tiningnan ng masama si Ereese.

Ereese launched another attacked.

She jumped and put her legs around Elijah's neck. She twirl her upper body and both of them landed on the ground. Elijah can't moved because his head was locked on Ereese legs. He tries to wiggle but no avail. Ereese was too strong that he can't let go.

The bell rang so loud.

Para namang nabingi si Ereese at dahan-dahang pinakawalan ang kalaban at tumingin sa mga tao sa arena.

The loud screams and cheers of the crowd was the only one she can hear.

"Everyone! We have the winner of the first Annual Knighthood Contest of the history! Congratulations! To the Elites, of Netherworld!"
