CHAPTER 5

Feeling dizzy, I lazily sat up to bed and open the door of my room. With my half-hooded eyes, I looked at Lia.

"What do you want?" I asked using my bedroom voice. I know that she'd been knocking on my door for more than a minute.

Napangiwi naman si Lia ng makita ang itsura ko. "How to be you? Kahit na sabog sabog na yung buhok mo, maganda ka pa din."

Hindi ko pinansin ang sinabi nito. Akmang isasara ko na ang pinto ng pigilan niya ito.

"Opps. Mag-ayos kana ng sarili mo. I received a message, the Headmaster wants to summon you in his office."

Tumango lang ako sa sinabi nito at dumeretso sa banyo.

This was supposed to be my sleep day, but it looks like not. Ano naman kaya ang kailangan ng Headmaster na 'yon? Knowing him, he already knew my secrets. But not all.

I did all my afternoon routine. Yes. Afternoon. Because it was already 1:30 on the afternoon.

After doing what I need to do, I stormed out of my room. Hindi ko nakita si Lia sa loob kaya malamang ay nasa labas ito. Hindi na ako nag-abala pang hanapin ito para magpaalam at dumeretso na sa HM Office.

Mukhang talagang hinihintay ako dahil pagdating ko sa office ay hinihintay na ako doon ng sekretarya niya at iginaya ako nito sa loob ng opisina si Headmaster.

"Good Morning, Headmaster." Bati ko saka umupo sa sofa sa harapan ng table nito.

"Hello, Ms. Clarkson." Umayos ito ng upo. "I don't like blabbering around, so I'll go straight to the point. Isasama kita sa misyon kasama ang Royalties. This mission is a class A. The Royalties are not allowed to hold such class A mission, but you'll accompany them. Alam ko kung anong kaya mong gawin kaya alam ko din na matutulungan at mababantayan mo sila."

I stared at Headmaster Albus for a second before speaking. "And why would I do that?"

Huminga ito ng malalim. "Because this mission has something to do with you."

I frowned. "What about me?"

Headmaster Albus release a sigh of frustration. "Just accept the mission!" Frustrated na sambit nito. Malamang dahil sa lanay ang tanong ko.

"Oh. Okay." Madali lang naman akong kausap.

He released a sighed of relief. "Good. Your companions will be right here in a minute."

Tumango ako saka sinandal ang likod sa sofa.

If accepting this mission means adventure, then I'll go for it. If this mission has some sort of killings, I'm more than willing to accept this.

Minutes or two had passed when the Royalties together with Lia entered.

I heard Lia gasped. "Ereesseee!" Tumakbo ito at umupo sa tabi ko.

Umupo naman ang Royalties sa kaharap na upuan namin.

Iniabot saakin ni Lia ang isang traveling bag.

Kunot-noong tinanggap ko ito. Magsasalita sana ako ng biglang may magtanong isa sa mga Royalties.

"Sir? What mission is this?" Tanong ng lalaking may kulay Kahel na buhok.

"About the first born of Arctica." Headmaster said causing the Royalties looked at him intently.

The first born of Arctica? Hm? Is this all about the talked of Royalties that I accidentally overheard?

"Sir? It's a class A mission, right?" Asked the only girl in their group.

"Yes, yes, I know. But I trust you with this, together with Ms. Clarkson and Ms. Hemsworth." Kalmadong Saad ng Headmaster.
