Take the Lead

Leona thought about it for a moment...

"are you sure about this?" Leona asked nervously

"of course it is, Hugo is in the ice dancing class" James said

"yeah, it's okay for girls to join ice hockey, just like how Hugo joined ice dancing class" Zandar told her

Leona felt like her head was about to explode, James came up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Leona, there were no boys in the ice dancing class when your brother joined, but Hugo loved it so much, he'd tried it anyway" James told her

"so you'll be the only girl in the class, if you really like ice hockey, why not take the lead?" James added

As Leona gave the hockey stick and the helmet to Derek, she and James skated around the rink, James started to sing

Leona thought about it and finally made her choice, "alright! I'm in!" she blurted out

"excellent!" Coach Henry beamed

"welcome to the class Leona" James said as he continued to sing

As the boys finished their song, Leona shot another puck through the goal

"score!" the boys cheered

James came up to her, "I'm so glad you joined ice hockey" he told her with a smile

"me too, and maybe I can help you improve your ice skating skills James" Leona told him

"why would you help me?" James asked

"because you're having trouble shooting the puck through the goal, and you're also slipping by accident" she told him

"right" James replied laughing nervously and blushing a little bit

Just then, their coach came up to them

"Princess Leona, I hereby present you, your hockey suit" he said as he showed Leona her new suit

"woah, it's looks cool" she said as she took the suit

"you get changed, and me and the boys will continue practicing" coach Henley told her

Leona nodded, "sure thing Coach Henley, I'll be right back" she said as she went to the dressing room to change clothes

10 minutes later, Leona came out wearing her new suit, everyone saw her and James couldn't help but stare at her

"Beautiful Isn't she?" Derek joked turning to James.

"yeah" James replied then realized what he said as he covered his mouth and playfully hit Derek.

"sorry I took so long" Leona apologized

"it's okay, now, lets play hockey!" Sir Henley cheered

Everyone cheered and started playing hockey

1 hour later, the bell rang meaning it's the time to head home

"welp, there goes the bell" James said

"yeah" Leona replied

Everyone changed back intk their original clothes and went home

Princess Leona is nervous to tell her family that she joined the ice hockey team...
