The badass and the nerd -bughead

Part 9

Jughead's POV

Driving to school didn't take long only 10 minutes, Parking up at school I see Fangs waiting for me at the top of the stairs near the entrance.

"Hey Fangs, what's up? I asked while walking up the last few steps.

"Nothing much, how was your morning?" Fangs said smiling ear to ear.

"Yes it was alright, why are you extra happy today?" I asked not bothering to tell him about my mum this morning.

"Oh nothing" Fangs said obviously hiding something.

"Um o.." I started

"Never mind I'll tell you" Fangs said interrupting me.

"Me and Kevin were talking all night and getting to know each other, but the thing is I still don't think he know it's me" Fangs said starting of happy ending sad.

"Wow that's good, but why don't you just tell him it's you, you obviously like each other and you know who he is, I have a good feeling about you to so go for it." I said trying to give him so confidence.

"Mmm ok maybe, I'll tell him later when I'm at home." Fangs said still debating whether to tell Kevin or not.

"Ok whatever you decide." I say giving him a smile and start walking into school.

Getting to my locker and getting my maths book out, just as I was about to shut my locker at the bell rings.

Me and Fangs walk into maths only see the teacher and a few other sitting in the back. Fangs and I go sit in the middle of class I know what you're thinking you should sit at the front you're a nerd, well I don't want to so  I'm sitting in the middle.

Halfway through the lesson I'm half asleep writing down things I learnt ages ago, Getting knocked out my thoughts by the loudspeaker of Mr Wetherbee our headmaster talking.

Mr W: Good morning students, I have an announcement Southside High has been shut down a few students will be transferring here and I hope you show respect to them and make them feel welcome and Jughead Jones please come down to the office, Thank you please continue.

Oh, ok I was not expecting that all around I hear groans and the noise coming from everyone and Mr Johnson trying to calm everyone down, I look over to see Fangs just as confused, I get up and collect my things and head to the office.

Walking down the hall I turn and walk into the office and see Miss Bell at the reception desk.

Good morning Miss Bell, I'm here to see Mr Weatherbee." I say still confused.

"Oh yeah just knock on the door and head in." She said smiling up to me.

I mumbled a quick thanks and walk to Mr Weatherbee's door I'm knocked.

"Come in" Mr W said quietly

I walked in and sat down opposite his desk still confused.

"Mr Jones, as you have heard Southside high has been shut down and some students have been transferred here, and I need you to show them around and make sure they feel welcome into the school. Now I know they may will cause trouble and make it hard on you but I'll give you extra credit, but there is something else once you have shown around the group I want to stay with three students who need the most help and they are Betty Cooper, Toni Topaz and Sweetpea, Now I know Miss Cooper will cause much trouble but I believe if you stay with her she could start behaving as you're a good influence on people.

Wow that was a lot to take in I'm happy to do it but what would my mum think she hates the southside serpents and I have to be there tour guide and hang around with them if she finds out I'll hang around with the Betty Cooper and her crew she's going to murder me, but maybe that girl from Pop's last night will be there and maybe I could talk to her and ... Stop! What am I going on about my mother never approve and I'll be lonely forever.

"Sure, I'll do it And don't worry about the extra credit I'm already ahead in everything."

"Great they'll be here any minute" Mr W said with a big smile on his face.

I sent him a smart and walk out to find Miss Bell the smile and a small pile of paper and gave them to me, I look at her confused.

"What is this?" I asked looking at the pile of paper in my hand.

"The timetables for the new students, there is a table outside in the hall waiting for you to set them out and when they come just get them to collect them themselves." She said still smiling

"Ok thanks." I say I'm walking out into the hall to get everything ready.

After 10 minutes everything is ready and I'm just waiting around for the Southside Serpent students.

I get knocked out my thoughts by big bang of the front doors of the school.

I look up to see a beautiful blonde and a boy and a girl behind her as a big group of students with an SSS leather jacket.

Looking closer I see the blonde is the girl from Pop's last night walking like a bad b***h.

Ooo this is going to be interesting; I say in my head.
