                          Shiny new trophy,
                          Sitting on the mantle.

                          Meaningless prizes,
                          Just as emotionally dismantled.
                          

                          Plastered with pretending smiles,
                          Drowning in a void of a soul.
                          Burdened minds,
                          Flow with plastic gold.
                          

                          Cornered thoughts,
                          Lost in illogical rewards.
                          Forgotten in trivial matters,
                          They're forever absorbed.
