Words slip away,
Just out of reach.
Living in stunned silence,
Dismayed in disbelief.
It's a world of quiet,
And nobody speaks.
Mute opinions,
Cause hushed tears to leak.
Heads kept down,
Unquestionably ignorant.
A pin drops from above,
And voices rise with the innocent.
