Resolving Problems

"Nice of you to join us Theodore" My father says as Theodore goes to shake his hand.

"Of course anything for Amara" he says walking the the back of the plane. I give me father a hug before following Theodore to the back. He seats on the relining chair pulling me down on his lap. I latched onto him and cuddled close as he put a blanket around us. We were both exhausted from everything that we fell asleep in an instant. We slept the the whole flight. We got to Italy early in the morning and let me just say Jet lag is real. We we got off the plane to see three Rovers. Antonio was standing in front of one with Marco, Matteo, Santiago and Romeo.

"fratelli, che ci fate qui?" (Brothers, what are you doing here?) I ask them giving them all a hug.

"La mamma ci ha mandato a prenderti" (Mother sent us to get you) Antonio says giving me an extra long hug.

"Ora qual è la grande novità per cui siamo dovuti venire tutti a casa" (Now what is the big news that we all had to come to the house for) Matteo asks. I guess I have to tell them first since there here. As I'm about to speak they all look past me confused, I turn around to see Theodore walking towards us.

"cosa ci fa qui Amara?" (What is he doing here Amara) Santiago asks. I see my father hope in one of the cars with his guards and drive off. Thanks dad, really.

"Theodore and I are getting married" I say lifting up my hand to show them the ring. They all tense up and become very angry.

"in nessun modo mi stai prendendo in giro Amara, hai solo vent'anni" (No way, are you kidding me Amara, your only twenty) Antonio says raising his voice. I turn around and tell Theodore to stop walking and wait before turning back to my brother.

"Dico sul serio, è il padre di mio figlio e presto sarà mio marito" (I'm totally serious, he is the father of my child will soon be my husband) I tell them.

"Questo deve essere uno scherzo cugino, non c'è modo all'inferno che tu stia andando fino in fondo?" (This has to be a joke cousin, there is no way in hell are you going through with that) Santiago says balling his fist.

"Lorenzo non l'avrebbe mai confermato" (Lorenzo would have never approved that) Romeo says.

"prendiamolo" (Let's get him) Marco says. They all go to take a step.

"abbastanza" (ENOUGH) I raise my voice at them causing them to take a step back.

"Quell'uomo proprio lì è il mio fidanzato, ciò significa che è la mia famiglia, non fraintendermi, se gli farai del male comunque non esiterò ad uccidere nessuno di voi. Sono il tuo secondo in comando, futuro don, prendi ordini da me, lo fai tutti e ti sto ordinando di ritirarti"

(That man right there is my fiance, that means he is my family, make no mistake, if you harm him in anyway I will not hesitate to kill any of you. I am your second in command, future don, you take orders from me, all of you do and I am ordering you to stand down) I say with authority. I was no longer their family in that moment, I was their leader. They all stood down and relaxed themselves As I took a second to breathe. I turn to Theodore and nod to him before he starts to walk over, I turn back to the boys who are embarrassed.

"ora è la tua famiglia, quindi trattalo come uno di noi" (He is your family now so treat him like one of us) I say before I feel an arm snake around my waist. Theodore holds his hand out to Antonio.

"Theodore Wylder" He says as Antonio politely shakes his hand. He holds it out to everyone and they all shake it introducing themselves.

"Marco", "Romeo", "Matteo", "Santiago"
