Katsuki: Hey, I got a phone call and I gotta go.
Eijiro: Okay. I'll be down in a minute.
Katsuki: You can stay if you want.
Eijiro: Nah, I'm tired, I'll be down in a bit.
Katsuki: K
"Hey, Katsuki's gotta go, so we are gonna head out." Eijiro said, standing up.
"Oh. Okay." Mina replied, surprise painting her face. "We could give you a ride home if you wanted to stick around."
"I'm honestly kind of tired, so I'm gonna go, but we should definitely do a movie night soon."
"Yes!" Denki exclaimed, moving to hug Eijiro. "Then we can have an omega cuddle session. I've missed them."
"Me too, Denks." Eijiro grinned, returning his hug, before Mina wrapped her arms around them both.
"Okay, movie night soon." Mina agreed, as she joined the hug. "And tell Katsuki we said it was nice to meet him."
"I will." Eijiro smiled, before pulling away, and heading out the door. "I'll text you both later."
By the time Eijiro made it out to the car, Katsuki was already sitting inside, the engine purring gently as it idled. He slid into the passenger seat, and looked over at the older man.
"Hi." He said quietly, inhaling the tobacco scent that swirled around the car. Katsuki turned to face him, raising a brow at the shy tone Eijiro had taken on.
"Hi." He returned, before pressing the gas to urge the car forward.
"Are you upset?"
"No." The answer was straight forward, but Eijiro sensed that there was more hidden below the surface of the words. "Should I be?"
"I don't think so." Eijiro shrugged.
"Okay then."
"Why did we have to leave?" Eijiro inquired.
"Something at work." Katsuki muttered, his brow furrowing. "It's something I needed a computer to deal with."
"Oh okay."
"Are you upset?" Katsuki turned the earlier question back on him.
"No. I just- I think my hormones may be acting up. I've been anxious all day, and even when I think my anxiety chills out, I've still got these butterflies." Katsuki hummed in response before they both fell into silence for a minute.
"Wait, you said, you've had butterflies all day?" Katsuki inquired.
"Yeah, I mean it's not constant, just bursts here and there." Eijiro gave him a puzzled look as he answered the question. Katsuki didn't say a word, just started pulling the car off the road. "What are you doing?" Katsuki sighed gently as he put the car in park, before turning to look at him.
"Ei, I think that's the pup moving."
"Wait. Wait. What?" Eijiro asked, as his brain tried to wrap his head around the almost obvious piece of information. "The doctor did say that's how it might feel, but I didn't think it would happen yet." He whispered, staring down at his stomach, eyes wide.
"Well, you are right around the time it's supposed to happen, so it shouldn't be too surprising." Katsuki stated, and as he finished speaking the butterflies started up again, causing Eijiro to gasp and bring his hands to his belly. "Is it happening again?"
"Yeah." Eijiro's voice took on a reverent quality as he tried desperately to feel the tiny movements. "I can't feel anything though." He pouted as the butterflies started to die down again.
