A/N - Yet another chapter inspired by CG_Shark/ Sneaky_Sharky. Their tweets give me such brainrot, and I honestly should probably just gift them this story at this point 😂😂 Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy!

"And who's this?" Eijiro's moms turned to face their son, questions swimming in their eyes. Eijiro glanced desperately at the blonde, they still hadn't discussed if or how he should be introduced to his family and friends. Katsuki smirked slightly before stepping in to save the floundering redhead.

"I'm his upstairs neighbor." He stepped forward, extending a hand. "I check in on him, and sometimes we eat breakfast together. Gotta make sure he's taking care of himself, right?" He chuckled lightly. Eijiro's moms hesitated at the alpha's gesture for just a moment before one of them stepped forward and shook his hand.

"Hi, I'm Kanami, and this is my wife Hotaru. I'm glad someone is checking in on him." She smiled softly. "I get so worried about him living by himself with his-." She stopped herself, clearly not sure if Eijiro had mentioned his pregnancy.

"He knows mom." Eijiro said gently.

"Good. I told you that you needed to have someone close by that you could trust in case something happened, so I'm glad Katsuki is checking in on you." Kanami smiled gratefully, running a hand through his ungelled hair affectionately.

Hotaru had her arms crossed, observing the alpha with a gaze full of skepticism. "Are you mated?" She asked coldly.

"No, I'm not." Katsuki responded, keeping his voice calm, but Eijiro could see him bristle at the question.

"I don't know if I feel comfortable having an unmated alpha checking in and spending so much time with our pregnant son."

"Ma!" Eijiro cried, face flushing with embarrassment. "I'm an adult! I can choose who I spend time with, can't I?"

"Eijiro, you're 19, and pregnant. You're too young to realize your hormones are searching for an alpha, an alpha who could hurt you or the pup if you're not both incredibly careful. I'm sorry, but I am just not comfortable with this."

"Hotaru, maybe we shouldn't have this conversation right now." Kanami suggested quietly, glancing over at Katsuki anxiously.

"I should get going anyway." Katsuki said stiffly, he tried to keep the pleasant tone he had been maintaining. "It was very nice to meet both of you. I know there isn't much I could say that would assure you that I only have the best of intentions with your son, but he's a really good kid, and I just want what's best for him."

Eijiro's heart fell a little when Katsuki called him kid, but he did his best to cover up the disappointment. Instead turning his attention to his parents.

"Mom, Ma, I know you're worried, but Katsuki has been super helpful, and hasn't done anything to make me uncomfortable. Can you just trust my judgment on this one?" He protested, his voice sounding far less confident than he wanted it to.

"Eijiro, we trust you." Kanami reassured him, taking his hand in her own, and pressing her hand to his cheek. "We just worry about you, and don't want you to get hurt. Of course you can make your own choices on who you spend time with, we just want you to be careful."

"Well I am being careful. So please just trust me on this." He insisted, looking past Kanami and looking into Hotaru's eyes. Her face softened a little, and nodded once, Eijiro grinned. "Thank you." He glanced over at Katsuki, who despite just earning his mothers' approval, albeit a little begrudgingly, still had a very serious look on his face. Eijiro desperately wanted to ask him what was wrong, but now wasn't the time or place.
