Zoe POV
I'm playing one of my FPS games in the room that I shared with my lover, Y/n. I had my headset on with the volume almost all the way up while shouting insults at the other team.
After I lost yet another round, I took off my headset and throw it down on the couch, "What the hell! He was right there!" I shouted at the screen, then jumped at a sudden sound of thunder, "oh shit how long was that storm going for-" I said, getting cut off by a whimper. Oh no...I forgot how scared Y/n was of thunder and lightning. I turn off the TV and jog to their room.
I knock quietly on the door and open it, "Heyo?" I asked, opening the door fully. Y/n was wrapped up in their blankets like a burrito.
"What took you so long?" They whimpered.
I sat next to them, "I'm sorry...I got caught up playing my FPS game with BF and Pico.." I apologize, hugging them tightly and kissing the side if their head.
"The storm's been going on for 15 minutes now..." Y/n whimpered again, then another sound of thunder shook the house and I decided to wiggle my way into the blankets with them.
"I'm sorry, I really am...but I wont go anywhere near the game until the storm is over. I promise." I say, making them face me and squishing their face in my hands. They nodded with a smile, "hey stop smiling! You're supposed to be scared!"
They peck me quickly on the lips, causing me to stop talking, "Dummy." They said.
I laughed lightly and kissed their forehead, "I know."
