His emphasis on will brought a soft smile to Y/n's face as she nodded her head and said, "I figured that's what would happen, even though I don't have a concussion anymore it's a lot less straining to use my ability with a computer and not with my database.  Yukichi knows that I would be of more use here than anywhere else at the moment given the crisis we seem to be in.  Speaking of which—"

She scooted away from Dazai who held a heartbroken expression on his face as he said, "You despise me so much you can't even sit beside me now?"

She giggled at his joke before she said, "Shut it, I can't use my ability if I'm touching you, dummy.   Database-Recovery Mode.  Print all reports from yesterday at the house printer."

In response to her words, the familiar blue light of her screen flashed to life in front of her, and on it was a small loading bar that told her how many pages were about to print.  Dazai almost choked on his breath as he whined out, "89 pages, darling, I can't read all of that before the meeting, I am not Kunikida!"

Y/n laughed at his reaction before she said, "It's not as bad as you think, a lot of it is stuff you already know but I just didn't organize it into a report until yesterday.  All of the new information will be highlighted.  Not to mention there are a lot of photos, think of it as a picture book, okay?"

He sighed in relief before he said, "Okay, that sounds a lot more my speed. Then shall we?"

He stood to his feet and offered her his hand before the pair walked down the stairs and into the living area. In the kitchen, only one soul was stirring this early in the morning, and he was the same one who was up the latest the night before.

The President stood at the counter, about to grab a pan from her hanging pan rack before she said, "Stoooop.  You are not allowed to cook in my house, good sir."  She slipped from Dazai's arm and walked over to the older gentleman before she said,  "I insist I make breakfast for everyone while you do something more suited of the Armed Detective Agency's President, like reading over some reports that are printing in the office-- Dazai go grab those, they'll be done printing soon."

Dazai sighed a bit at the thought of having you read those reports.  Even with it being repeated information and photos, 89 pages is still 89 pages...  Luckily he had a few hours to get that done before he had to leave to meet his old friend.

Once Dazai left, Yukichi took a sip of the tea he had already brewed before she arrive and he glanced over to Y/n, who was pulling out a rice cooker from below the island.  He asked, "How are you feeling today?"

She smiled up to him and said, "Surprisingly well-rested.  I thought I would still be a bit burnt out, but I guess a solid nap was all I needed."

The older man smiled before he said with a tone of relief lacing his words, "I'm glad.  Has Dazai told you the plan for now?"

Y/n nodded and said, "I'll be on remote support with the girls until further notice.  Any news on Kyoka?  She's been missing for almost three days now ever since that attack and I haven't exactly been conscious enough to search for her..."

Yukichi knew this would be a question that came up, but he didn't expect it to be Y/n's first question of the day.  He closed his eyes and shook his head as he said, "Unfortunately we have no leads.  She is either very good at hiding, or someone has taken her.  We decided when you woke up, you would be in charge of finding her whereabouts.  You will also be in charge of watching our backs and finding any confidential information on our opponents. Here at home, that should all be easy for you, correct?"

Y/n smirked and a slight sparkle was seen in her eyes as she set the rice cooker on the island and said, "Back up a few words-- you said 'confidential' with a tone!  Does that mean you're giving me permission to hack!?  Oh, are you?!  I'm so happy right now I could die!"

Yukichi frowned and said, "You are the most morally sound yet morally unsound person I have ever met.  Yes, you have permission to access information normally withheld from our organization.  I would also like for you to give both Ms. Haruno and Naomi access to those databases and servers you gain access to.  Haruno and Naomi will work on establishing and maintaining communication networks with the agents in the field and also compiling and analyzing data on the Mafia and the Guilds' movements--"

He looked down at her with his signature serious look on his face as he finished his words, "Now answer my question, you can handle that while here, correct?"

Y/n stood at attention and saluted the older man before she said, "Yes, sir.  You know I am unstoppable when I'm at the apartment, sir.  I have my equipment to help me out."

Yukichi couldn't help but smile softly at the girl before he said, "I'm glad you are back to normal.  It has been quiet without you this last week."

She smiled at the older man and playfully poked her elbow into his side as she said, "You're such a softie."

Dazai came back into the kitchen holding a small stack of paper in his hand before he said, "Two things to note, Y/n.  One, this should be all of the reports.  Two, you need to drastically review what you define as an 'office.'  That is not an office, that is a geek's biggest dream in there.  Why do you need so many servers anyways?"

Y/n shrugged and said, "It makes it easier to use my ability when I'm supported by more equipment.  So, I always deck my place out with the best equipment.  I've never shown you the office before?"

Dazai looked at her shocked and said, "Again, that is not an office, I feel like I was walking into a life-size computer when I went in there.  You had so many serve towers, monitors, and cords that were zip-tied all over the place!  And, why do you need so many monitors, there is only one for you?"

Y/n still had an innocent look on her face before she said, "Because there are multiple computers? Duh?"

Dazai pinched the bridge of his nose before he said, "My plebian mind just can't grasp the reasoning I suppose."

Y/n simply brushed off the conversation before she said, "Alright!  Let's start cooking!"

Dazai nodded his head before he walked to stand beside her and rolled up the sleeves on her oversized shirt and said, "Yes, yes, so what's for breakfast?"

Y/n smile brightly and said, "How does tea on rice sound?"

Dazai rolled his eyes before he said, "Again?  How come Atsushi gets his favorite meal every time he's here?  When will I get to pick what we eat?!  And, tea on rice isn't exactly a breakfast meal!"

Y/n pointed the knife she was holding towards Dazai as she accusingly put a hand on her hip and said, "Excuse me, but I made you pork dumplings for lunch the other day!  Did I make any for Atsushi?  Yes, I did, but that was your request--"

A cough broke through their conversation as Yukichi said, "Please, both of you, stop arguing."
