Sleepover mishap (Adrinette AU)

Chapter 11 "Scardynette"

"Okay we pretty much did everything we can do at this carnival, NOW CAN WE LEAVE?!" nino says.

" I guess we can go home now.." i shrug as Adrien agrees.

" Woah woah woah, who said we're going home?" alya said as she buds in.

" Hh don't you want to see the pictures?" Adrien asks.

" OF COURSE I DO! but the sleepover doesn't start until 10pm and its 8pm right now and we've still got 2 more hours to do one last thing." alya squeals.

"and do what?" i ask her.

"GO TO THE THEATRE OF COURSE!" she jumps up.

" Alya...."i sigh.

" Can we watch  a horror movie?" nino suggests.

" OH no...." i say as i stuff my face into the cat plushie.

" Whats wrong mari? Ya scared?" adrien says.

I nod my head.

" I'll be there to protect you!"He says as he stands tall.

i nod and continue walking.

"Wait where are we going to put our kids? They would die from fear!" i ask.

" There's a pet area and the theatre." nino says as we walk to it.

" Wait are we walking home at 10pm? Wont it be dark?" i ask.

" I'll tell my bodyguard to drive us home then!" adrien says.

" there's no getting out of this mari ;)" alya says knowing i was trying to find an excuse not to watch horror movies.

"okay...." i mumble as i walk.

*While on the way*

"Awwww look the hamsters are asleep" Alya says as she snaps a photo of them.

"They're adorable" i say as i look at them.

i cover the stroller and put a blanket over them.

"They wont be able to breath mari" adrien says as he takes off the blanket.

"But they look so cute!" i say.

"they will suffocate marinette.." he said.

"Guys we're here" alya says as she shows us the big lighted up building.

" O0oo0o0o0o0H! Let's watch i  It chapter 2!" alya says as she points at the banner.

I shiver.

Adrien holds me close.

"wanna take mimi with you?" he asks me.

i nod.

"Who's mimi?" alya asks as she snaps a photo.

I hold up the cat plushie Adrien won for me.

"ohhh" alya says.

I put plagg and tikki in the animal area and went off to the movie.

"I've watched this movie like 7 times and i never get bored of it!" nino says as we walk towards our seats.

"I'll go get popcorn be right back" adrien says.

"Uhhh I'm coming as well since i, know you guys's  favorite popcorn and chips flavor!" i excuse myself.

"okay girl, don't be late!" alya says.

i nod and walk out holding Adrien's hand.

"If you're realy scared sleep through the movie" adrien says.

" How?" i ask him

"just like you did at the sleepover, on my shoulder  -///////-"he lets out a chuckle.

I giggle with a blush.

"okay.." i say.

we pick out the snacks and start paying.

adrien gives me a peck on the lips and i start to calm down.

A smile is spread across his face that keeps me comforted and happy is what's making me calm.

"al little extra for the couple.." the cashier man says as he gives us little heart lollipops.

"Oh were just friend-, Thank you" i nod.

Gosh i'm so used to saying that line whenever someone calls me and Adrien a couple 0/////0.

We come back seeing that the movie had already started.

just when i thought i was comforted...

I sit down, put the lollipop in my mouth, and hide my face behind mimi.

"pssst, marinette" alya calls me.

i look at her.

She snaps a photo of me.

"this looks adorable, definitely sending this to Adrien.

i hear the movie calm down and decide to try to watch.

i try to peek at the screen but seems like i opened at the wrong moment since a jump scare popped up.

i  cover my ears and quickly hid my face into Adrien.

he smiles and pats my head.

i hear a camera flash and see alya taking a photo.

i swear to god alya what do you do with these photos?

We walk out of the theatre as i stick to adrien.

"Geee girl, will you ever let go of him?" alya asks.

I shake my head.

"I dont mind alya :)" adrien says.

" But what about your hamsters- i mean children." alya asks us.

i suddenly let go and grab adrien by his shirt to follow me.

i go and get the hamsters and we both head outside.

its dark and we dont see alya and nino.

"alya? nino?" i ask as i walk around.

i hear footsteps.

i start getting the chills.

" BOO!" nino creeps behind me.

I jump onto Adrien's back.

"NINO!" i shout.

he lets out a laugh.

"not funny" i huff.

"alright can we go home now?" adrien says as his bodyguard is waiting for us outside the car.

we hop in and he drives us to alya's house..
