4. Fear

You can't seem to sleep. You hate being in a new environment. Even though it was the same compound, you feel nervous being in another room.

You went to knock on Wanda's door.

You: It's me.

Wanda: Come in.  You can't sleep?

You nod.

Wanda: Come here then.

She lifts the blanket, inviting you in.
Within minutes, you fall asleep in her arms.

The next morning, Wanda is still next to you when you wake up.

You: Shit. Maybe, next time I shouldn't drink so much.

Wanda: Hangover?

You: Yeah...

Wanda: Come here.

She uses her powers to make the hangover go away.

You: You are useful.

Wanda: Of course, what do you mean by that? Let's go down now.

Both of you head to the kitchen.

Steve: We have a mission today, together with Bucky.

You: Who's Bucky?

Steve: Another member of ours.

Wanda: When are we leaving?

Steve: 2 hours.

Wanda noticed that you start to feel sad because you didn't get to have much time to spend with your sister.

Wanda: I'll be back quickly. Please... don't go to your old place again, ok?

You: Ok.

You didn't want to stay in your room, so you head to Wanda's room instead.

*few hours later*

Nat rushes into the room.

Nat: Your sister got hurt. You might wanna come.

You rush out of the room together with Nat and see Wanda lying on the hospital bed.

You: How did she get hurt?

Steve: She got shot at the abdomen.

You: Is she going to be ok?

Steve: She's lost a lot of blood, but she should be fine.

You hug Nat.

You: I can't lose her... *cries* I'm scared.

Nat: It's ok, she's going to be fine. She's strong.

Steve: Do you want to go in?

You: *shakes head* No, I'll go in later.

You head to the roof where nobody is and cry your heart out.
After letting your feelings go, you see that there is no one in Wanda's ward before stepping inside.

You: You're going to wake up right?

You: You're not going to leave me alone right?

You fell asleep next to Wanda.

Nat: How are you feeling?

You: Sore. This position is not nice to sleep in.

Nat: You can always go back to your room.

You: I am not going to do anything in my room anyways.

You play with her fingers and you see her hand flinch.

You: Sis? You're up?

Wanda: Yeah, I'm up.

You: OMG.

You hug her immediately.

Wanda: Ouch, careful.

You: Sorry, you stay here with Nat. I am going to tell them you're up.

You left the room and informed everyone that your sister is awake.

When you head back, you can hear them talk but you can't quite make out the words.

You: What are you guys talking about?

Nat: Nothing.

You look at her suspiciously and look at Wanda.

Wanda: We were talking about you.

You: Oh, why?

You were confused.

Wanda: You were worried about me.

You: If you are going to tease me about it, maybe next time I should just not care about you then.

Wanda: I didn't mean it that way.

You: Are you going to head back today?

Nat: That depends on the doctor. But she should be clear to go back.

You: Great!
