Chapter 19

*Recap* So Charlene makes an appearance, Shane burns his hand, and Emily is practically beating up Charlene, when the siblings say they should go to the hospital Charlene runs away, and the siblings left their stuff at the campsite.

*Emily's POV*

i was so happy when i got to punch the living daylights out of Charlene! She hurt my brother and that is not okay!  We are currently driving to... hmm i am not quite sure "Jason" i ask "where are we going?" "to a hospital.... somewhere" he said unsure looking at the dark road in front of us "OH i found Brookson Woods Hospital, and it is about four and a half minutes away its the closest one." said Caleb "okay so where am i going?" Jason asked "hey guys... my hand really isn't that bad, you guys are making it sound like someone cut my hand off.." Shane said with a giggle "dude trust me that's when you know it's going to hurt extremely bad!" said Danny "what?" i asked "yea i mean it really doesn't make sense but like, the burn will hurt really bad then stop and then hurt again like ten times worse." Danny said "he's not wrong, that actually happens a lot" said Caleb "okay okay one way or another he needs to get it checked out, so Caleb i ask again where am i going?!" Jason snarked back at us "okay dude chill... ummm make a right here. and then when you get to the next place you can turn go left, then keep going straight and it should be on the left." said Caleb looking at his phone. Jason did everything that Caleb said and pulled up to a run down, barely noticeable hospital... it is the creepiest place ever!! Jason parked ever so slowly taking in the scary sight. the sign that said the hospitals name was flickering and covered in dirt... i got the shivers along with goosebumps

"alright guys this place might be the death of us.. but we need Shane's hand to be okay, so lets go, and don't make faces!" Jason said looking at me in the last rule he gave, we all nodded and got out of the car, and walked slowly to the door.  Danny opened the door and out came a nasty smell of drunks, and medicine two things that do NOT mix well together.  we walked in and we saw that the hospital was dirty and the lights were flickering faster, in the waiting room the chairs were ripped and some where very broken, i looked around and then a very drunk man started staring at me, Caleb noticed and protectively moved me behind him. The drunk man started walking towards us and stopped next to me "you're vvveryyy prettyyyy" he slurred then sleazily smiled Caleb moved me right in between him and Danny, the drunk man just walked out, Jason made his way to the reception lady "hi welcome to the whatever hospital what do you want?" the large woman behind the counter said with a very bored voice . "umm hi my brother burned his hand and we need to get it checked out." Jason said "well seeing as you are the only people here who have a problem go down the hall to room 12 and look for Dr. Ramon tell him your problem and he will help you." she said pointing to the one hallway in that place "thank you have a good night" i said to her trying to be nice but she just replied with "whatever" ugh rude

we walked down the narrow hallway until we stopped at room 12 which was the only door that was clean and somewhat decorated we knocked and then out appeared a tall man with a smile on his face that lit up the room "hey! I'm Dr. Ramon! come in come in!!" he perkily said inviting us in, he was so obviously gay and i am not just saying that cause of how he introduced himself but because he has a picture of him and i guess his boyfriend on his desk that says 'mah boo' on it. we where all smiling widely "omg i love y'alls smiles, but it is starting to creep me out a bit" he laughed "sorry we're just happy to meet someone here who doesn't seem dead!" i said laughing "ooh girl i know what your saying! i started working here and my first day i thought they were zombies that were gonna eat me, but once you start working here you know how to fend them off, this place is so drag that i thought at least one room has to be happy!" he said giggling and we all started laughing along with him "okay so who is the patient? I'm guessing its the hunk of a boy in the chair holding his hand and wincing in pain?" Dr. Ramon said looking at Shane with a sparkle in his eye "it started hurting a lot more now.." Shane said "alright cutie sit on the hospital bed and let me check that hand out" Dr. Ramon said "alright it isn't as bad as you may think" the doctor said then he put something on Shane's hand which made him wince and then he wrapped it with a bandage thing "okay cutcicle don't do anything hefty with this had for a little bit, and in about a month or less if your good go to your local hospital and get it checked on again." 'thanks doc how much do we owe you?" asked Jason "oh you honeys don't have to pay! this ones on me! just get out of here before something bad happens..." he said jokingly.

we laughed and then left the 'hospital' we got in the car and drove back to the campsite. "that guy was cool but it was weird that he kept calling me cutie and hunk and stuff i mean he's not wrong but i would like to hear that from a girl not a guy..." said Shane "i loved him!!" i said grinning "of course you did!!" said Caleb and Danny in unison "yea yea you love him you love him not who cares lets just get our stuff from the campsite." Jason budded in

we parked the car and saw something towards the place where all our stuff was we walked closer and we couldn't believe it... everything was.....
