The flawed yet mesmerizing moon stood out amongst the dark velvety veil, reflecting it's unearthly light on the world and the habitants of it, two of them particularly under the influence of it.
The window of Jisung's living room was open, and the lights were off, letting the yellow moonlight illuminate the dark room softly, enhancing the attraction they felt towards each other.
Yet like the beautiful moon, their attraction was flawed too; after all, what ever was flawless?
The movie that played on the screen was an irrelevant motion of pictures to them because all they could think about was each other.
For Eunae, her heart was unsteady and palms sweaty, her eyes might have been stuck on the digital screen but her head was full of thoughts that did not resemble the movie at all.
And Jisung on the other hand, was ecstatic, and anxious. A feeling of want, mingled with a feeling of guilt was all he could figure out. The screen of his phone grasped in his hand was blank, contrasting his restlessness, he wasn't sure what to do when he felt alone. But one thing he knew for sure was that the girl curled up beside him was undoubtedly a medicine of his figurative loneliness.
And everyone thought about being selfish at least once in their life, just like he was thinking about it. The words of his friends still ingrained on his brain but failed to hold a leash on him, as despite the constant reminders he wanted to go on with what he wanted to do.
