Peter was the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy. That was a sort of unspoken knowledge. Not even Rocket, despite what he says, denies that. But when Thor decided to leave with the Guardians, it caused an imbalance on the ship.

Either of the men were born leaders, and either of them were hotheads. So whenever a problem arose, two sides of the same coin would wage war on each other.

They were idiots, but at least they got their job done.

That was until weird shit started happening to Peter whenever he was around Thor. Sure Peter would never admit it, but since Thor had lost some weight there was an undeniable attraction. A glance would turn into a stare. A warm feeling would turn into a boner. A single action would turn into fantasy.

But there was also something else. When he was near Thor, he felt stronger, faster, smarter even.

He couldn't explain it.

He tried to speak to Rocket about it, but it was no use. He tried Groot, but all he got was an I am Groot. Yeah sure that kinda did make sense, but Groot was a teenager, what did he know. He definitely didn't want to ask Drax or Nebula, so the only person left was Mantis.

After explaining what he had been feeling, she asked to read him.

He agreed and she put her finger on his head.

"Oh.. oh no..."

She pulled away and looked to the floor confused.

"What is it?" He asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"It's your Celestial DNA. Although Ego is dead, it seems that the DNA can connect to other Godly beings and draw from their power." She explained, "That's what's giving you the extra power."

"What about the feelings?"

She just smiles at him and chuckles.

"Well, your DNA amplifies what you already have, so..." she chuckles.

His cheeks went red and he thanked her before walking out of the room.

Just as he rounded the corner, he bumped into someone.

"Ah, Peter, just the man I was looking for- Pink woman," Thor waved to Mantis and she giggled as she left.

"What was it you wanted?" Peter asked as Thor looked back at him.

"Yes, I was going to ask you if you have been feeling a sort of special feeling around me." Thor said rather plainly and a blush found it's way to Peter's cheeks once more.

"What, do you mean by that?" Peter asked, already feeling the gods power literally running in his veins.

Gosh Thor looks hot with that loose fitting shirt and tight pants. Peter thought to himself.

"Thank you, but I do not see why my garments have to do with any of this."

"What?"

"What?"

I just want him to li- what the hell Peter, what are you thinking?

"On asgard it is common place to love one of the same sex, or even one of multiple genders. It's fine to have such-"

Thor was cut off as Peter smashed his lips to his. Peter moved his body closer to Thor's. He was about to pull away when Thor pulled him back in and kissed back. Thor tasted like everything he'd ever dreamed of. While Peter tasted like the finest wines on Asgard. Their lips molded togather perfectly. Thor began to grind on Peter and Peter grinded back on Thor. Peter wasn't going to be grinded on, he was the man in all his relationships. Even though all his relationships were with women.

That's when he pulled back.

Thor was a guy. A GUY.

"Well, that was nice. You have beautiful lips." Thor complimented him and turned to walk off.

Peter just stood there dumbfounded by his actions.

And he regretted pulling away.

Thor felt stupid. How could he have been so blind. It had been right in front of him. It was a rare thing to feel, and he had ignored it at first. His father told him about it.

How there was a single other being out there, and once he found that other person, it would change everything. And now everything has changed, eversince he met Peter.

Of course he hadn't noticed it at first, how could he? Peter was a man. He hadn't been attracted to any man before Peter. Of course he was fine with that, it was common place on Asgard for one to love another of the same sex.

It was just so surprising.

But now Thor knew why everything felt so heightened when Peter was near him. The kiss had killed all his doubts.

And suddenly he felt Peter beside him again.

"Thor, can we talk?" Peter asked and Thor turned around.

"What is it lord of the stars?" Tor spoke, trying to keep the calm in his voice.

Peter blushed a little and scratched the back of his head. A weird noise came out of his mouth before he spoke.

"I... I feel different around you, and Mantis told me about some sort of god DNA thing and I just...."

Before he could finish Thor had already started kissing him. Thor hadn't even thought about what he was doing, he just knew that kissing Peter was right.

Thor pulled Peter closer to him and closed his eyes. He felt the electricity in the room run through both of them, quite literally. Peter could feel Thor's power and beauty as their lips stayed connected. It was a beautiful moment.

"I am Groot!"

Both of them pulled away embarrassed. At least Peter was, Thor had a smirk on his face. Meanwhile Groot was pretending to vomit.

"I am Groot."

"What do you mean you lost the bet? And stop with that sort of language!" Thor asked as Peter was still trying to get a hold of everything.

"Holy shit! Ha, I was right!" Rocket laughed as he came to the main deck. "Pay up, kid."

Groot tapped at his tablet and Rocket smiled.

"Did you guys bet on this? You're all sick." Peter said and made his way out of the main deck.

"I am Groot," Groot said and tried to offer Thor a smile.

"You really bet that we wouldn't get... togather?"

"What happened?" Nebula asked as she made her way up. "Peter just locked himself in the bathroom."

"I won the bet."

"Seriously." Nebula rolled her eyes and pulled out her tablet. Rocket's smile grew wider.

"I can't wait to tell Drax and Mant–"

"Don't you dare tell Drax!" Peter shouted from the bathroom.

Thor smiled. Then he recieved a message from Peter.

Can u come to the bathroom.

Thor's smile grew even wider.
