I got dressed in whatever an then grabbed my God Bow an pouch, putting the chains around the pouch to keep it in place an letting it connect to my skirt on the right side of me.

I checked if my necklace candy gave me was on and it was. I went to the window an looked down to see masky waiting for me.

"Jump down, I'll catch you." He said as he uncrossed his arms

I sat on the window an pushed myself out, without a second thought. Masky caught me by my hips an let my feet touch the ground as I almost lost my balance.

"C'mon." He said

He walked out to the forest as he hopped the picket fence. I put my bow over my shoulders an followed him, hopping the fence an jogging up to him to catch up.

The leaves crunched underneath our feet as we continued into the forest. The forest shifting us around but the leaves still crunching.

Twigs snapping every now an then as we walked in silence. I looked around at the scenery and felt at ease as the wind softly rustled the trees and loose leaves on the ground.

It was almost calming as we walked and I found myself almost smiling, just a small curve on the ends tugging at my lips.

'So peaceful...so calm...'

It was enough to let my guard down in and close my eyes gently. I stopped for a moment an let the sounds of birds an rustling tree's take over.

The sounds of little scurrying feet in the bushes or trees...The buzzing of the bee's and hum of a birds sweet tweet in the air.

Their symphonies almost echoing in my ears as I didn't even hear masky walking anymore. 

"Hey." Masky said, as to not alarm me," C'mon, at least keep walking cause we ain't there yet."

I opened my eyes softly an looked at him. He was probably seven or ten steps ahead but he was still nearby enough to jump to me if I was attacked.

I nodded at him an went to him, he waited as I got to him an then we went off together.

"Where are we going?" I asked

He didn't answer as we walked and I looked at him.

"Just somewhere special." He said," just trust me."

I tried to see if I could read his emotions even through his mask but it was a no go. I looked ahead an saw the forest was shifting and still taking us wherever masky wanted to take me.

I looked up at the morning sky, the bright yellow an orange in the sky as the clouds were sort of trying to form.

The sky slowly turning blue or light blue. The sun was still rising since it is morning and when I had checked it was 7:54am.

"We're here." Masky said

I looked at him and then ahead and saw vines in front of us. I stopped for a moment as he went to the vines an put his hand through them.

He moved a handful aside an looked at me. A cave.

"Go on, I promise nothing is gonna happen." He said," it's just something I think you'd like."

I trusted masky, masky was like the others an sometimes it was a treat to get to talk to him. I went in after he said that.

It was dark except for a very dim glow in the distance. The light the vines brought it was gone an I waited for something to give me a sign that masky was still here.

A hand gently grabbed my shoulder and I was calmer than before. I put my hand over it and it gently pushed me forward.

I looked around, my vision having a bit of a hard time adjusting. The air around felt dense and foggy, signs that the cave was deep an had another entrance probably closed off like the one we went into.
