Chapter Ten - The Desire

Mizuki P.O.V.

The grey clouds start forming in the sky when I arrive at my mother gravesite. I place the baby breath bouquet on her tomb as it was her favorite when she was still around. I remembered how she always preserved the flower and carefully kept it in a box.

"I'm here, okaasan."

I smile at the picture of her.

I begin telling the story from the past year. How I ended up in debt and decided to work for Bonten. I let her know that I'm still sending him money and have people to check on him regularly to ensure he's not gambling it away. I tell her that I changed my identity to cut ties with him, hoping that he changes his bad habits by doing so.

"I hope you forgive me for doing this."

I bow deeply in front of my mother's tomb.

Then I tell her about the members, about Mikey and about Sanzu. I let her know that everyone have been treating me well. Soon droplets of rain start to fall. It drizzles down from the sky. I'm trying to get my folded umbrella from my bag when someone's umbrella shades me from the rain. I look up and find Sanzu is holding it. I turn around and find the others are also here. I smile at them, hoping that they are aware how much this mean to me for them to show up here.

"Can we pay our respect as well?"

Mikey asks so I move from my spot to let them stand in the front.

It's such a strange sight to see them here but I really appreciate their kindness. Although Bonten is famous for its bad reputations, how can I judge them the same if they keep showing me this different side of them?

"Don't worry about your daughter. She's now part of our family and we will make sure she's well taken care of."

I hear Mikey says.

"Thank you very much for coming."

I bow at them when they finished.

"You've heard Mikey. You're part of us now so no need to be so formal."

Takeomi gently pats my head.

"It sounds like my contract has been extended to lifetime."

They laugh when hearing it from me.

"Will you sign it though?"

Mochi raises his eyebrows when asking me.

I look at everyone before facing Sanzu. He tilts his head with a smile on his face.

"Honestly where else can I go? You guys are all I have now."

Rindou and Ran come and squeezing me into the middle then proceed to give me a big hug.

"Now you've really become our little sister."

"I told you I'm good at judging people."

Mikey smiles when I meet his eyes.

We all then leave to have lunch together before flying back to Tokyo. When we were in the flight, Koko mentioned about the tattoo that everyone had on them. I received Mikey's permission to get one if I choose to have it. Later that night, I go to Sanzu's room to have the discussion with him regarding this. But it doesn't end just with the discussion when things heated up between us.

The moment when Sanzu's lips touch mine, I just can't think straight. It's just that easy to get lost in him. He's just keep drowning me and I don't want to get out even if I can. At least for tonight, I want to embrace him and touch him. And the more I kiss him the more I'm aware that I want him. Maybe parts of me realize that now I'm belongs here or perhaps the feeling of relieved that they had accepts me to be part of Bonten, making me bolder. It doesn't matter whether it's the bad or the good side of him. Now I just want to be part of him.
