Chapter 24 - Queen Nomore

Asta and Noelle are flying away from the hospital.

"Asta-Kun take me to the castle please" says Noelle

Asta and Noelle arrive at the House of Silva.

They walk through the front gate and the guards are all shocked to see the black bull.

"It's been awhile" a guards says as he bows to show Asta respect.

Asta smiles

Noelle and Asta enter the castle and are immediately met by Nozel.

"What are you doing here" asked Nozel

Asta bows to Nozel to show respect

"I apologize for you seeing me act out of character at the tournament the other day" says Asta

Nozel then looks at Noelle

Noelle smiles and then she glances at Asta

Asta takes the glance as her wanting to be alone with her brother , so he goes back outside.

"Sister, is there something you want to talk about?" Nozel asks after seeing Asta walk away

"Yes ..." Noelle says as she goes and sits at a chair

Nozel then goes and sits across from her

"Nozel, it's been almost 2 years since I became the head of our Silva house, and because of that I've met some great people and I've grown a lot.. but I've only been improving myself, the head of the house should improve not only themselves but the family name as well and bring in more money and families under us , I wasn't here to see mother do these things so I have nothing to reference..in short ... I'm stepping down from being Queen and will now appoint you as the King of House Silva" says Noelle

Nozel eyes widen

He gets up and then walks to the window and looks at the sky

Tears are falling from his face

"Mother...." Nozel says to himself

Nozel turns and walks back to Noelle and hugs her tightly

Noelle and Nozel are now crying

Nozel gets on his knees and says "Thank you sister, I promise I'll do my best"

Noelle wipes away tears from his face and gives him a kiss on his forehead

"It turns out you were a big softie all this time haha" says Noelle while laughing

Nozel quickly gets up and tries to go back to 'looking tuff'

"Hmph, call your friend in" says Nozel

Noelle calls Asta back in the room

Nozel stares at Asta

"Why are you so fond of my little sister?" asked Nozel

"Come here" Asta tells Noelle

Noelle gets up and walks to him

Asta grabs her hand and then looks at Nozel

"You asked why I'm so fond of her..just look at her.." Asta says

Noelle blushes

"..I'm in love with everything about her, she's the most awesome girl I've ever met, her beauty, strength, compassion, determination, and the dark parts of her she doesn't show to anyone....I'm in love with all of her .. Nozel I will marry her after this war is over" says Asta

Nozel turns and walks to the window

"Mother ...she has found her 'light'." Nozel says to himself

Nozel turns back to them

"I see...as long as you take care of her and don't mistreat her , it's okay with me" says Nozel

Asta and Nozel shakes hands

Noelle smiles and gives her brother a hug.

"I already informed the Wizard king, but I think you should go inform him yourself you are now king" says Noelle

Asta and Noelle head to her room and Nozel goes to the capitol

Noelle sits on her bed as Asta sits in his old chair that still has his belongings that he never took with him.

"Wow, you actually kept my stuff, I thought you would throw them away" says a astonished Asta

"Humph, don't think so lowly of me, even though I hated you doesn't mean I wouldn't have respect for someone's personal belongings" says Noelle

"But if my stuff is here , where did Morgen put his things?" asked Asta

"I didn't allow him to sleep in my room with me like I allowed you..his stifff is in the closet in the hallway" informs Noelle

"I see.." Asta says , trying not to show he was happy to hear that.

Asta walks to the window and sees in the distance some mages hovering over the Capitol part of the kingdom.

"I totally forgot they were having a festival today to ease the atmosphere before the war starts" says Asta

"I totally forgot as well , haha Nozel will probably be there for sometime celebrating himself" says Noelle

Asta goes over to Noelle who is sitting on her bed

She blushes

Asta leans in for a kiss when suddenly—

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"EXPLOSION!?" yells Asta
