Chapter 25 - Kingdom Destroyed

Asta leans in to kiss Noelle when suddenly—

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

"Explosion!?"

Asta and Noelle run over to the room window

They look out the window in awe

Smoke filled the sky and fire coming from all parts of the kingdom.

"The capital ...Nozel" says Noelle , with tears filling her eyes

Asta grabs Noelle and then jumps out of the castle's window

As they fly to the capital, they are flying through thick smoke in sky.

"How can all these place explode at nearly the same time?" Asta says to himself

And then the story of Zenon attacking Nacht's family entered his mind but he brushes it off

They arrive over the capital which once stood the Wizard Kings tall building but now is flat as th earth.

They land on the ground

"NO!" Yells Noelle in horror

Asta looks down in sadness

Bodies are laying everywhere ... some of them have bones stuck in their corpse.

"Bones...so it must be that Zenon guy" says Asta to himself as he clinched his fist

"Nozel! Brother where are you!?" Noelle yells with tears falling from her precious eyes

Fire is burning everywhere making things hard to see

Asta grabs Noelle hand

"Calm down Noelle" says Asta

Noelle smacks Asta

"How can I be calm when there are bodies everywhere and my brother is supposed to be here" says Noelle with a stern look

Asta ignores her words and grabs her hand as a statement of reassurance.

He knows this is the first time Noelle has ever been in a situation like this

They walk around together

"He was going to meet the Wizard King so most likely th—-" attempts Asta

A red cape on the ground with the bodied filled with multiple bones sticking out of it , next to it lays 3 more bodies in the same condition..

Noelle drops onto her knees ..

Asta is in a state of shock

"No-Nozel ..." Noelle says in a state of denial

All of a sudden Noelle starts laughing creepily with her mana surging

Asta has a flashback to when his childhood friend 'Lilly' kissed him and his brother Yuno who was hiding started laughing creepily with his mana surging before he turned into a Demon and killed his whole family.

Asta quickly grabs Noelle and kisses her and then knocks her out

"Can't have that again ..No.. I won't let that happen again" says Asta

Asta now looks at the bodies from Noelle's view and he immediately drops Noelle and tears fill his eyes..

"Master Yami, Nacht, Nozel...." says Asta breathing heavily

Asta falls out into the ground, crying hysterically.

Suddenly he hears someone laughing and a surge a mana going wild..

He turns around to see Morgen standing behind him with his eyes filled with redness and no pupils.

Morgen heard someone crying and came in the direction only to see his brother Nacht, Yami, Julius , Nozel and see the love of his life body on the ground thinking she was dead..

His 4 leaf / light magic grimoire quickly turns into darkness and now has 5 leaves.

Asta quickly picks Noelle up and backs away

Morgen is now towering in the sky

Asta puts Noelle by a torn down castle

He then starts focusing his breathing

Asta gathers the 'Ki' of all the dead bodies and absorbs it

"Advanced Ki Technique: Flames of the Fallen" says Asta

Asta's body is now covered in black flames

He takes out his Katana.

Morgen now is a full demon , he is spitting out balls of Demon light magic , unconsciously destroying the kingdom even more.

From where Asta is standing he takes his katana with burning black flames and slashes down a straight line.

Suddenly Demon Morgen is frozen ...

And then his body is split in half..

Two halves of the demon crash into the ground.. it's over.
