Author's Note

I know very few people read these, so if you've made it this far, thank you so much. I'll keep this short.

As I said in the first chapter, I've had this idea for literal years. The flirty, charming bartender breaks down the walls of a confident, stoic woman over the course of several nightcaps. To finally put this idea that I've had into world is so exciting. I'm glad to share it with all of you.

I hope I did my own idea justice. I hope I portrayed the warmth of the bar, the hesitance to start a romance, the eventual release. I hope it was a slow burn, but not too slow. But most of all, I hope you enjoyed. I hope you felt something reading this, because I definitely did while writing.
