Hellooo! Welcome to my Xiao x reader; Sparks To A Flame! 

Keep in mind I am probably not the best writer there is out there so I apologize in advance for any grammar issues!  (ד ྊ ד )

This is a Xiao x Fem reader so if those aren't your pronouns I apologize! 

This is also my first Genshin x reader so I hope I get every character down alright! 

I started playing the game a little over a month ago? And in simple words I am a complete simp for almost all of the characters in it. So here we are writing about Xiao.. 

But anyway.. here is some important info you might want to remember for this story!

━━☆⌒*.     Y/n has a Pyro vision and since the other Yakshas visions weren't revealed (apart from xiao) I'm just going to put Indarias as a Pyro user. And yes, you are the Yaksha known as Indarias in this story! If I missed anything involving the Yakshas, please feel free to tell me so I can fix it! You wield a Polearm! But you also know how to work with a bow if you really wanted too (b˙◁˙ )bYou can choose your outfit if you want! I was debating if I should pick it for you guys.. but eh  you can decide if you want! But if you want to know I was going off of something like this: 

For me the bow is red, and the kimono doesn't have to be that short but not too long either. It's still up to you though! I also imagined wearing something like this to go along with it 

And imagine the lace is golden in this because I couldn't find any like the one I imagined-

This is just what I came up with. BUT something important is that if your wearing something like my outfit, (a kimono or anything that has a long sleeve) the tips of the sleeves are red. I will get into that part later in the story so you will find out why it has to be that specific color! If you aren't wearing any outfit that has long sleeves in it, you can wear gloves that fade into red at the tips if you wish! Sorry if this ruined your design but it is part of the story!

One thing I must mention is that the first chapters will be set in the past before the Yakshas went missing and before Zhongli "retired". I will give you some sort of sign to let you know that those chapters are done and it will move to the present time! I told you this so there won't be much confusion so I hope this helped ( ' ▽ ' )b

Finally, the last thing I will mention, is that this story does contain some violence and self harm. As you may know, the Archon War was a thing in Genshin so I will try my best to write that part out when the time comes.. and Y/n deals with... a few things I won't get into yet. SO just know there will be fighting scenes, the war obviously will have that included, and trauma. Xiao does fall into that category of trauma so his story will also be told. 

If you are not comfortable with this stuff, feel free to stop reading or skip! Though, I wouldn't recommend skipping because there would be some parts you would miss.
